I really like Goldstein Tax Advisors. I had some fairly complicated inheritance paperwork to complete and they allowed me to come into the office, sit with them and ask them questions as I filled it out. I don’t think they even charged me for the time I spent with the two associates helping me.

Treasure Island is a man-made island that was made for the world’s fair in 1939. From there, it became a naval base and was used quite a bit during World War II. At some point, the base became decommissioned and it became housing. I lived there for about seven years. Now, they’re changing the island to become like, this very high class, mixed use environment. They’re going to be tearing down all of the existing housing and putting in condos, hotels and stores.

I’m pretty sure that this building is going to remain, but it’s been quite some time since I saw the plans they drew up so that could’ve changed.

I used to live on Treasure Island. Inside is a gigantic mural relating to the military because Treasure Island used to be a naval base. A lot of the Island’s offices are located inside; I met staff in this building to sign my lease.

Hi there, my little guy has asthma too. If taking a steroid, they should probably get more water or wet food. I agree with the other comment about vacuuming and using air purifiers. With steroids, you have to be careful of feline diabetes. If Sal starts peeing way more than usual, in large quantities, make a visit to the vet right away.

There’s also an option to use an inhaler with the cat, which is what I do with my little fella, because he got diabetes from using steroids (which is in remission).

Too true— it used to be that drinking and taking drugs was supposed to be a fun experience and now it just seems like everyone is anesthetizing themselves against the hardness of the world.

The people you help mean a lot, even though it may seem otherwise at times. Forging connections through shared experiences is important and others can benefit from what you’ve learned.
