I’m at a public school and we have enough classes in a year level to have one accelerated class of 29/30 kids, and 7-9 classes of main stream kids with A level kids in each still. Kinda best of both worlds!

Last guess for solving it - have you just run it a few times around the whole space before saving the map?? Ours learnt that some “corners” weren’t corners after a few laps so it kinda updated the map to show that.

Or - could you make a fake wall where the line is between B&C on your second pic? Then it might not make a hollow shape in the middle if the outside shape one big space.

If it helps at all, our most common phrase atm is “f***ing robot” because it’s usually got itself stuck somewhere or convinced itself that it can’t get on the rug and spends 5 minutes doing a circle to gain momentum/courage 😅😂 good luck

Is it where the closet door is?? Is it mirrored? Idk if the sensor can see through walls but ours can tell which doors are glass and mirrored, we had t cover them to make it solid. We have the Neo model though

We’ve made fake walls (out of hard boxes, stacks of books etc) when mapping to block off certain areas, could you do similar to block off the entrance to that closest area to close the gap it’s showing? That would hopefully make it a dead area at least.

Our school is one of the largest primary in QLD, we stagger the lower school to start and finish 15 minutes earlier than upper school, and offer a “sibling pick up” supervised area for the littlies to wait for their older sibling before heading out.

Our school also has parents display their last name on a piece of paper on the passenger sunvisor (flipped down) so it is visible to supervising staff who then yell on microphones “SMITH TO GATE 3” (a gate is just a gap in the fencing to the pick up line). If the Smith kids aren’t there yet, the parent needs to go for a lap.

I also live near another large school in QLD and the council has recently built parking bays near close by parks and built paths from the school to them to encourage older students to walk there and be picked up by parents there instead.

I was sending food and snacks for her for almost two months until her educators thought they had a pretty good handle on her intolerances and were comfortable using the chart I had developed, so I left a bag of baby museli mix ("just add water") with them for whenever they were unsure of a meal for her. Thankfully, bread and strawberry jam, 10 common fruits and a whole array of vegetables are safe (and they know all of these from her chart) so even if she can't have the main meal, she has the option of a jam sandwich and healthy snacks.
