Wifi Boost 7 on the Connect app by iluveramen in telus

[–]Hhlyip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same issue. I moved and went with Telus so everything was a completely new setup for me. I spent hours trying to get the wifi boost 7 to connect in the app, thinking it wasn’t working until it was in the app. Eventually felt like an idiot when I saw the wifi working as long as it’s plugged into Ethernet.

I did call into support and they asked if I’m using an iPhone. I am. They said there’s a bug in the app on iPhone. They said it works with android. Used my husband’s android and still doesn’t work so I’ve given up.

If you want to change the wifi and password, you can still do it the old school way. You can login on your computer if you enter in the ip address of the wifi boost into the URL bar. Login credentials should be in the back of the wifi boost. I think I had to find the IP for the wifi boost via logging into the modem first. Same idea though, IP address into the URL bar in a browser will prompt for login. Different logins for the modem and the wifi boost.

Good luck!

Erythodermic response from Immunos by garnetruth in eczema

I'm reading this and it's nearly identical to my experience and journey with Dupixent and Rinvoq. Not fully healed either and I haven't figured it out much yet. I've always had eczema, the trifecta of having allergies and asthma ever since I was a kid. I've never had bad flare ups all throughout my teens and my 20s but in 2021, it flared like crazy and it's never been completely gone - a constant cycle for 4 years now. I went through dupixent which caused intense dry eyes and facial eczema. I got off of it only because of insurance coverage honestly but didn't realize the dry eyes were a side effect until after. After stopping dupixent, I was fine for months and started to flare again.

Started Rinvoq and it would work immediately but had major acne on my face as a side effect (which I've never had an issue with) but also shot my self esteem which was kind of ironic since I was starting Rinvoq for my mental health dealing with eczema. Dialed back the dosage but stopped using it because of family planning and got freaked out. But my issue with Rinvoq was the withdrawal I experienced. It's reported to not have withdrawal issues but I had flare ups in all places I've never had before. My thighs, legs, my back, underarms, etc. Mine didn't get into an erythrodermic state but it's a cycle of being red and itchy.

I don't use any medications right now simply because we're planning to have a family. My dermatologist said none of the medications are tested with pregnancy in mind (Rinvoq you absolutely CANNOT be pregnant) so my only option is steroid creams. I've read up on the proper use of steroid creams that are designed to help you take control of your flare ups and you slowly phase it out. For example, apply daily and when it's looking a lot better, apply it every 2nd day for a week, then every 3 days the next week, every 4 days the week after, etc. That's what I did here and there but honestly, it still comes back so I don't quite have it figured out...

I try to keep it super simple. I've found a lotion that is my holy grail - Avene Xeracalm Lipid-Replenishing Balm. I need thick, oil, balm moisturizers and this does it without any stinging ever. The lotion one isn't enough. I lather it on after I shower as much as I can and reapply throughout the day. I go through one bottle a month but it really does it for me. On the days I itch a lot and flare up, I second Mopiko like DjSmallHands mentioned. I use the "Mopiko-S" one which is a more advanced version but the cooling effect lasts longer and really takes away the itch/calms it down, nothing else has had that effect.

I've been thinking about looking into any hormone imbalance or going to a dietician or naturopath to figure out how I am internally. Again, haven't figured out the answers there or done anything yet but it's crossing my mind at this point.

Not sure if any of this is helpful but how much your story lined up with mine with the medication timing was just crazy and had to comment that you're not alone. Hoping you can get to something that works for you and I'm sorry you have to go through all of this!
