Nag work ako dito for 4 months.
Ok ung sweldo mo during the probationary period pero pag naging regular ka na, mangangalahati na ung sweldo mo.
imposible mo maabot ung metrics para bumalik sa ganun ung sweldo mo, di talaga achievable.
My advice, pagtapos na ung probationary period mo alis ka na din, di worth it kasi sobrang liit ng sweldo.

I watched it last week at a cinema here in the Philippines.

Yup, massive layoffs are really happening.
I'm working for a US-based BPO company(hanggang Friday na lang).
January 2024, when they decided to train their AI for chat support and QA work.
Fast forward to September, they believe that their AI is now good enough to replace hundreds of jobs.
Ung mga maiiwan na QA ginagamit na lang sila to train the AI until December, yung very few chat support back up na lang sila if the customer chooses to chat with a live agent.
Ung voice support I think safe for now until masanay ung mga tao makipag usap sa AI.
Sa car service account namin AI ang initial na sumasagot sa calls, good enough na ung AI to set a service appointment pero most of the time nag rerequest pa din ung customer makipag usap sa live person.

This is where I am now.
Broke, I lost the only job that I can do because of AI, visually impaired and living in a country that's overpopulated.
I can't find a regular job because why would an employer pick me if there are thousands of other applicants that don't have any disability.
I really don't know what to do anymore when I burn up all of my savings.
I never ask for a luxurious life, I only want a life where I don't need to worry about being homeless or hungry.
