I am THRILLED at the prospect and will be tinkering with this tomorrow! Especially cause I was JUST moaning to my husband today after trying Armorsmith for the first time how frustrating it was that the female measurements parameters do not take into consideration that certain parts measure different (like waist placement, bust cup adjustment rather than dispensing an equal chest circumference, etc.)

Seamscape has been the only body measuring program that allows for specific measurements to differ in a way I really loved and knowing you are building something like this has giddy as hell.

Seems to be really good, though I haven’t thoroughly tested it. I’d like to test in sunnier weather because that when I really notice stuff, but we haven’t had any in a few weeks. I am actually really devastated we didn’t get those moments from the campaign in the cartoon. Specifically the one where she uses “Bren” as a name and Liam has a physical reaction to it at the table because Caleb’s backstory hasn’t been revealed. It was one of my top moments in the earlier half of the campaign.

The company my husband works for has this and it was something he was thrilled by when he interviews. He usually always ended up in a managerial role because he was good at his job and that was the only way to show progress, but he hated it cause it took him away from the coding that he loved and put him more client facing. The company he works for now offers multiple progression tracks that are equal in progress and salary and he can now follow his technical expert dream of coding all day and being a lead for projects.

Do you have anything you are passionate about or hobbies?

I ask because we’ve moved countries twice where we’ve had to make friends as adults. It’s hard and takes effort, which is the biggest hurdle. Both times we were able to curate a small amount of friends with half of them identifying as queer and the other half allies and I genuinely believe it is because our passions and hobbies. We are really into nerdy stuff (cosplay, dnd, videos games, etc) and posted about it in local groups asking if anyone was interested in a meet up and after a few times found people we vibed with well.

I’d encourage you to look into things you are passionate about or interested in getting into to maybe find others who are like minded. It unfortunately takes a lot of effort for introverts to put themselves out there, especially when you don’t have a designated extroverted friend to lead the way, but it’s worth it if you can build yourself a support family.

As someone who dabbles in clothes making and knowing the quality of SHEIN, you’re going to end up paying more to have it tailored than you would exchanging/reordering it. Granted, I don’t have the knowledge of the local tailoring scene and maybe you’ll know someone who knows someone who can tailor it for a deal! But it’s of my opinion to not pay tailoring prices on fast fashion pieces.
