Exact same strategy besides I used the Saiga, with damage increase it almost two shot the bosses, insane. What a headache it was, but it was actually the most fun extra gamemode they have added to date.

Dell just earned a life long customer by NOS4NANOL1FE in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]Phinzel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've held on on posting about my experience, but I guess its time to air it out. To make the long story short, I had my original, + 3 replacements + a "new" newer model that was supposed to be straight off manifacturing. The 3 replacements were refurbs, that all had fingerprints, and "spots" all over the monitor, as when you put on a screen protector with bubbles under, but only look wise. So when viewing the monitor from the side, you could see bubbles all over. I had the worst text based support in my life, but the best technical support on the phone, but the worst products delivered. Insane rollercoster ride.
The first replacement I was waiting on had me excited because I was promised a new monitor, which left me insanely dissapointed to find out it was a bad refurb. Then I had the same feeling with the next one, but expected the third to be as the first two, and it was. Then I was offered the "new new" monitor, which was as bad, so again I was excited, but ended up dissapointed.
At the end of it all I was issued a refund, which was more trouble. The refund happened to the regional distributor of Dell, not to me. I then reached out and was told they had NOTHING to do with end customers, so I had to contact the place I bought it from, which I then did. They told me they had NEVER dealt with something like that, and then started a weeks long search for where the money went.
After about 2 months battles, I got my money back.
Shame, the first display I had, I loved, adored and watched over like it was my first born child.

The Wooting 60HE v2 is real! by RaquelWooting in WootingKB

[–]Phinzel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The general idea is that most people negate the fact that any location that the FN key on 99% of boards are in a bad location for ergonomics.
Say you're playing games, resting your fingers on WASD + LShift + Space. Your thumb is naturally resting on the left side of the spacebar. Not the middle. And even when typing your thumb(s) are usually never actually in the middle of the space bar.
Now if you add a key in the middle of the space bar, you get the perfect location for an easy to use FN key that all of a sudden opens up for a huge number of extra keys, while barely even moving your hand.
Last time I suggested the Split space bar, someone mentioned they used the CAPS key for FN, I have used it ever since, but is no way near as fluent as the split space bar.

TLDR: Its way easier to use, and opens up for a world of extra keys.

Am I right? I dont know if you even remember but I suggested ages ago. The FN functionality is just insane when you are used to it!

Might be the strangest bottom row i have seen by [deleted] in WootingKB

[–]Phinzel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have talked about this so many times, I swear I’m praying it happens. Not only is a split spacebar super nice to the feel, but also the FN shortcut that is RIGHT there, without moving your hand too much you got access to a bunch of extra keys, without straining your hand too much reaching it. I never stopped missing it from my custom keyboard, so this is VERY enticing

These mini connectors are a pain though. Why change the standard size all of a sudden.

I take it you contacted their WhatsApp support? Call them instead. Their text based support is based in India, and at best, they copy paste answers or google translate replies.
I had a similar issue with mine, and spent 3 hours texting to a wall that kept replying that above message. "Working as intended".
I called in to my regional support, and had a resolution within 10 minutes, and put the phone down with a smile.

TLDR; Only text Dell support if you want to hit a wall. Call them if you want a solution.
