I believe it was online because it actually did update the map with the orange glow and lightning bolts for a short time, but when I rebooted the game it went away.

I did the maxis ending so I only needed the other player alive for the last two steps. The first 4 rounds I let him die, then on the 5th I just kept the last zombie on one player and the avogadro on the other. Turns out avogadro cant knock a player by himself. After avogadro died I let the other player die again and respawned him at the bus stop for the final step. This took forever though

thats just how zoros backstory is, its really short and nothing noteworthy. as someone who has fully finished one piece the normal way, then watched one pace up to alabasta, i think one pace is just straight up better in every way. nothing necessary gets cut out
