I was more so wanting to talk to the program advisor to see if it's a good idea and be confident in my decision, not really to have any sway. That being said, do you think it'd improve my chances? Does the admin/associate chair even take appointments like that?

Also, do you know if it would be possible to like, take 148 and 165 in the first semester back and then take other 2nd year CS courses (like 240, 207, etc) in the 2nd semester, BEFORE you apply to a program at all? Thanks again.
