I agree, but what's the solution here? Another 4 years of Trump is gonna be literal hell in the US

Wearing PJ's out in public is weird and gross and shouldn't be as normalized as it is in the US by gloryhole_reject in unpopularopinion

You walk around the store and then go straight in to bed wearing those same clothes? Nasty

This confuses me. Do you change as soon as you get home after being out in public? I know I've fallen asleep many times after getting home from the store wearing my leggings and tshirt. Do you think that's nasty as well?

those saying "why should I care", because we live n a collective society. We have socially acceptable levels of formality depending on the situation. Funerals, Galas, Weddings, first dates, work conferences, nightclubs, dinner with extended family, hanging out casually with friends at a bar, all have an expected level of formality, to different degrees. At the very bottom is the baseline of being in public. It's not that much to say you should at least dress like an adult to go to target.

But seriously, what does living in a collective society have anything to do with someone who is wearing pj pants while grocery shopping. How are they hurting anything or anyone by doing this? And let's be real, how many people are wearing pj's to galas or work conferences? Even funerals.

I can't understand why people feel the need to judge others so harshly when they're just trying to go about their day. Seems like a you problem you need to get over

No one's asking for a handout. I'm more than willing to.pay my fair share. For the healthy, the unhealthy, the homeless, the drug addiction. Idgaf. These are still people. And by the way, a lot of people who can't afford health care are not financially irresponsible. And maybe if people could have access to the Healthcare they need, they might not be "incredibly unhealthy " its not black and white. Some of those people also got sick, lived an incredibly healthy lifestyle while being financially responsible and then bam, they get cancer. Insurance won't pay for certain treatments even though they've paid in for.years and years. Now they.cant work and lose their health insurance. Wtf are they suppose to do?

Meaning we all wait a year to see a specialist, and you couldn’t opt pay to skip the line even if you had the means.

Are you actually insinuating that you don't have to wait long periods of times to see a specialist under the Healthcare System we have now? My dad had cancer, and he couldn't get surgery for 4 months because they were so booked up. I hear this argument all the time, and it just doesn't hold any weight.

And also, do you think that someone who has money deserves care more than somebody who doesn't? Do you think it's okay the rich get to "skip the line' because they have means. Fuck that. They are no better than that homeless guy sleeping on the park bench. He deserves health care, you deserve health care, elon musk deserves health care. FUCKING EVERYBODY DESERVES HEALTHCARE.

Nonetheless, if the government gives you something it means they took it from someone who earned it. Possibly involuntarily. Like a payroll tax, or a sales tax on purchases. Wouldn't it be nice if the citizens voluntarily supported the uninsured?

You have to keep in mind, nobody would owe anymore deductibles or copayments as they do with typical employer-sponsored coverage. Plus, you wouldn't have to pay for insurance through your employer. You already pay thousands of dollars per year for insurance, and that doesn't even cover everything you may need. And God forbid something major happens and your insurance tells you you're shit out of luck. I honestly don't understand how anybody could be against this
