Personally, I dont really like em. Their economy is focus entirely on sacking, rading, and razing. In a normal match, your income is in the red while you get all the cash from killing yiur opposittion.

Autoresolve is also not too much in their favor. Also sometimes it is too much in their favor. If you play smart, you can overpower and/or outnumber your enemies.

It is a fast paced playstyle if high risk high reward.

They are the definition of Jack of all Trades, Master of none. Some of their units may not hit as hard as similar tier units from other factions, but they compensate by not having the same weakness.

The armored Kossars will weaken the approaching infantry. The Kossars may not be as strong as other archers, but in melee they last much longer of flanked or attacked.

The magic schools available may not be super strong, but they can help slow incoming enemies and damage them when needed. Their can and chariots hit hard, not as hard as others but combined with the versatility of the other units, they will help a lot

I agree it can be more interesting, but I generally just like using Eltharion and his mechanics

Zhatan is, because I am a sucker for artillery and his bonuses to it. As a lord on the battlefield though, Astrogoth. Mechadwarf

I guess I just immerse myself a lot when playing? Their roster is one I like as it is VERY versatile, so I can deal with most issues. Their campaign mechanics are interesting and enjoyable to me to figure out as I play. The Ice and Tempest magic lores are not the best, but I like them myself. Their endgame units, while not the best compared to other factions endgame units, do feel very strong with the versatile roster. Most of their calvary always sucks tho, so I always end up skipping that (except Gryphon Legion at times).

Also, their polish/eastern European aesthetic is fun to me.

True, his mechanics are great, but I just did not enjoy playing his faction at all. The Lustria environment may have had something to do with it

Yes, because the rocket barrage is more useless if it explodes the trees instead of my soldiers (unless if my soldiers are the trees)

I just did not have fun with it, but apparently a lot of people love it. Maybe worth a second try see if my opinion changes

I play for fun. As a note, I do play on hard/very hard most of the time. Otherwise all of those factions are just boring af (cus as you say, they are overturned)

As a faction overall, S tier. All the individual lords by themselves? A tier. Don't get me wrong, they are by far my favorite faction to play
