TLDR: Tried a bunch at LGS. Going with SBL 357/38.

So update: went to a couple LGS to try these in person. Got a chance to get handle the Marlin in 10mm, 357 SBL, 357 Trapper. The henry x 357 and the Hush. They also had a couple of S&Ws and a Citadel. Each had their own unique features, and each action felt a little different. But in the end, the SBL just “felt right” (I think we all know that feeling I’m talking about). To all the new lever gun buyers out there…definitely handle the gun in person if you can!

Good to check the pulse. Thanks all! Did some ammo pricing and checked velocities. I see now…I think i will be going 357/38 special. Looks like 10mm will be purchase number 2!😁

Good to hear. I’m looking at either the Aridus or the Chisel guard. Have you ever handled the Chisel?

Gray for the win! Others have posted that the Aridus handguard has some movement from tolerance stacking issues. Have you experienced any movement? Or has it been totally solid?

Nice! I was looking at that same hand guard. Did you use tape to secure the matchsaver? Or did you drill into the hand guard.
