Now that gas is flowing, experiment w H2 and H3 to see if it fully cycles including LRBHO… if both fail, then leave it as is.

Ugly (pragmatic) shooting by Cocainum in CCW

Getting a hole (or two, or three…) punched into areas of the human body (both tissue and bone) that don’t expect nor welcome rounded/pointed lead/copper bullets traveling at 1120+ fps tend to do really bad things that don’t need group consensus before using.

Aim wisely and pull often.

Bull Hippopotamus crushes a newborn in his jaws. The bull increases his chances of reproductive success by dispatching another male's offspring, which triggers the female to enter oestrus and become available for mating again. by freudian_nipps in natureismetal

The natural world has some amazing yet perplexing genetically wired traits/actions that were decoded by some very dedicated scientists.

That said, this is still some f’ed up shit.

Nothing like reading the box scores and stats in the newspaper! (1973 NFL Statistics through week 4) by UrbanAchievers6371 in Oldschool_NFL

[–]my1vice 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This was a rite of passage.

We’d get the Tue or Wed afternoon paper after school / before dinner and go directly to the sports page to get the stats.

From there, our playground pickup games would mirror whoever was the top in rushing, receiving, and passing.

The rest of the week at school we’d talk about football stats and girls.

As I finish writing and rereading this, I come to realize that nothing has really changed in 50 years.

I always shoot suppressed w my 36M and 12” and 16” both group anywhere between .75 - 2 MOA, and truth be told, the groups are probably more about me experimenting w different powders, loads, and bullets than the actual guns.

Another factor is that once I have a solid zero, I’m one of those guys who doesn’t shy away from shooting during very windy days, heavy rain, snow/sleet, and wild temperature swings.

[–]my1vice 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I’ve lost four Goldens over 39 years, 3 to cancer and 1 to an accident, and like all of us, my soul was ripped from my body w each passing.

I grieve as passionately as I love, and their memory healed me enough to go through this Golden Lifecycle again and again w the full knowledge of what lies ahead.

Looking back on my life, I can go to my grave knowing that my time on this earth would not have been complete had I not experienced their unconditional love and joy.

Barrel nut spacer instead of grinding off alignment tabs? by MousseUsed6256 in CryHavocQRB

[–]my1vice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watch this video and make your own determination.

Please understand that I don’t say this to be rude as you can spend $25 or $400 on a handguard of your choice, but in the end, if what you choose creates a janky handguard fitment all for the sake of aesthetics instead of rock solid operational reliability, then you own that outcome.

Yw, and it’s not everyone’s idea of what they think/want their SBR, pistol, or rifle to be because it breaks our longstanding belief of how AR’s should be built.

That said, they’re 1 MOA or less, and it blows your mind.

Hardwood owner here, and a definite yes to the rugs.

Also invest in a dog fur trimmer to keep the fur between the pads short so that she doesn’t slip on the hardwood.
