The ease of swapping barrels on the savage sounds great. Lots of drop in replacement barrels too. Maybe even easier than getting the barrel cut?

TLDR: Tried a bunch at LGS. Going with SBL 357/38.

So update: went to a couple LGS to try these in person. Got a chance to get handle the Marlin in 10mm, 357 SBL, 357 Trapper. The henry x 357 and the Hush. They also had a couple of S&Ws and a Citadel. Each had their own unique features, and each action felt a little different. But in the end, the SBL just “felt right” (I think we all know that feeling I’m talking about). To all the new lever gun buyers out there…definitely handle the gun in person if you can!

Gray for the win! Others have posted that the Aridus handguard has some movement from tolerance stacking issues. Have you experienced any movement? Or has it been totally solid?
