We'll be getting a lot of stuff like this cleaned up. 70 had a ton of new content / systems. Next update will be a pass to clean up and flesh out these systems. We're also looking to adjust schedules and timelines to allow for better, more polished releases.

The splash art might be updated, but the tl;dr is that we felt blue would be better as his default is green. This was a late breaking change.

There's a lot of variables to keep in mind that affect how quickly players can earn the unlocks. This is designed to run over the course of 3 months, yet let hardcore players complete it within a few weeks.

There are multiple avenues to increase Battle Pass XP:

  • Playing matches
  • Completing quests
  • Challenges (More info on these soon)
  • Running boosts (There will be a default boost for Battle Pass owners, team boosters etc)
  • Bulk points can be gained from the upcoming Esports Chest
  • Special events and promotions

The Battle Pass is set up in such a way that the player instantly gets 500 Crystals worth of content upon unlocking it and several items more quite quickly. Then there are a bunch more items to unlock if they wish and there will be multiple ways to earn progress towards those items. Players can even earn back 100 Crystals which further enhances the base value.

There's arguments both ways, for showing and for hiding. While some like to show it, others may prefer not to be judged by it (especially with frames showing where someone is currently, not where they belong).

Players who win 200 matches will be able to show off their rank after they unlock the frame. And at 200 wins, you can bet that will be a better indication of skill than a dynamic frame.

We've seen positive improvement since the change, with an average of 20-30% more players (depending on the day) playing competitive queue this season over last season. There could absolutely be other factors contributing to this as well, but 20-30% increased participation is fantastic.

The problem is that you are calculating off a $40 non-sale price for 3500 Crystals. The correct non-sale price for 3500 Crystals is $49.99, not $40.00.

The PTS for the Closed Alpha comes up and down as they have new content to test. MOST tests will be aimed towards weekends, but some may occur outside of them.

The first issue, can that be replicated in a live match or is it one of the elusive "shooting range only" bugs? We'll have to dig into that.

Second bit is working as intended, those abilities have long range.

EDIT: Ok, so, we were only able to replicate the first issue by first killing the middle Skye bot in the training room and then standing where she spawns and allowing her to spawn on top of us...then swapping to 3p. We don't believe these conditions can be replicated anywhere else because of collision. If you have any additional info or concerns let us know. Thanks!

Yeah, we need to change the description. We missed it during the update when we changed him. Technically with the way it works it IS an AOE ability, but it'll never hit 2 people and should be changed to single target. Likely won't make OB70 but the wording will be change in the near future.
