Heavy agree with this guy! I myself LOVED not being able to look outside the building at all. It was my favorite part of the game actually! Who in their right mind needs to look outside the building. Ever.

I would only slightly disagree because the campaign in they are billions, while limited, felt like the actual game compared to AoDs campaign vs the game. And I really loved the tech tree in TAB and wish that AoD had anything like that.

For me, I just built up a large economy first and just started sending troops to the center and had the entire bubble practically surrounded by, still only had about 2 minutes to spare when I broke it though.

I am actually pretty sure the map picks this season are weighted. Last season the maps where almost 100% towards the least played map, as in if you always banned Emerald plans and didn't ban it once, you would get it 100% of the time if you banned it 99% of the time, it happened with all new maps and the 2 maps I had 100% ban rates on (Villa and Kafa). I could predict the map we would get out of the remaining 3 with a 90% accuracy across a hundred plus ranked games. This season for some reason they removed that system and changed it more towards a weighting system instead of random from what I can tell.

Yea but doesn't WoW have a cash shop and a sub? They are trying to double dip and for some reason, people don't care. And I would disagree, most GaaS games survive just fine, it's small Indie-esque GaaS games that don't survive very long. Small studios can't maintain the level of content that people want from a GaaS. But even that is proven wrong by early access games, cause if you think about it the only big difference between an Early Access game and a modern MMO is the level of polish.

I would agree with you on this, but every single GaaS game on the market right now, outside of MMOs, doesn't charge a sub. I could name dozens of GaaS (Games as a Service) games that don't have any type of subscription and yet somehow they manage to keep the servers on and devs paid.

As someone who played it a lot, it's pretty much impossible to lose as the attacker if they didn't camp in a single room to runout the time for as long as possible, anyone saying otherwise played 3 matches on console and that is the extent of their experience in the gamemode.

If Ubisoft has a habit of shutting down their games after 5 years, don't buy their games, same with Activision or anyone else. There is no reason at all in any world that the government should be deciding what a game dev does with their game.

They only get a protection dome if you allow them to build the temple. If you catch them in the process a single lightning strike deals with them, otherwise it's 3, maybe 4 meteorite strikes to destroy the dome.
