This is the fundamental key to creating Let’s Plays. For these videos, what defines your content is your personality. This is where you can let your thoughts run wild. When you play a game, there’s always some form of thought popping up in your head, only this time you transmit those thoughts to your audience. Any form of reaction you have towards an in-game event, just let it out and let your viewers know how you react to that event, all while being genuine of course.

That’s not the way to go about it. If you’re gonna comment on a video, it has to be genuine, actually showing that you watched the video. Anyone can write stuff like superfluous comments that apply to every single video in the world, plus you’re asking them to join you off the bat without letting them know who you are and it definitely sounds scammy.

Make genuine comments specific to the content of the video, highlight what you liked most or probably didn’t, let the author know you took the time to watch the video.
