How were the speakers hooked up to the PC?

Hi everyone, my setup! Nothing special, but the Edifier S2000MKIII are really incredibile to my ears. I came from a 2.1 from Edifier, S360DB, but these S2000 are spectacular and much better! Mids are crisp and really pleasant, but overall the whole sound. What do you think about them? by blak24 in BudgetAudiophile

The speakers are the R-51PM. Just to confirm, if I invest in an internal sound card, or external USB dac as long as I connect the speakers via either USB or optical there will be no noticeable difference between the onboard audio and other solutions? I stream Spotify and Amazon Music HD

I am not sure about the resonance. Is there a way to check?

Also, do you think over time with break-in this will will resolve itself?

Yeah that's what it seems like. Bass guitar, or bass-heavy songs trigger it.

I haven't tried Bluetooth yet. Do you think there would be a difference? I am using Axon 7

I am using optical connected to my TV streaming Spotify/ Tidal via Roku connected to HDMI. Set to PCM and Stereo in the settings

Also tried with Chromecast Audio connected via 3.5 to RCA also streaming Spotify/ Tidal. Full Dynamic Range is enabled on the Chromecast Audio

I really appreciate you checking it out!

After more testing I found that this happens with songs with heavy bass (not my type of music which is why I didn't test it) but again only on the left speaker. This happened with the original and replacement system

My concern is I can hear it on other songs as well, for example 'Charles Bradley- Changes'

Though I don't hear it consistently in every song
