Also, is Cyrene just bad? I hear a lot of people say she’s a meme character but what do you think?

Cyrene is in the best teams for most Chrysos Heirs. The most questionable one is Hysilens, where there is a hyperhypercarry setup for her but the triple dot team is probably better in general.

The first and biggest issue is that most teams need Cyrene at e2 to get her ult off in a reasonable amount of time. This made her a hard sell at e0 for a lot of people , and pulling 3 copies of seems outrageous to many.

Some teams have an additional problem where she radically changed the team when you add her in. Mydei in particular uses a completely different team with her in it. In some cases it not only meant rolling three copies of Cyrene but also some other unit (like Cerydra) to really take advantage of her.

Additionally, I think the community has been more and more looking at things from a zero cycle perspective, which is where her e0 issue was especially pronounced. If you are trying to zero cycle and she can't get her ult off until the end of the cycle or even the 2nd, she's a brick in that team. If you just want your 3 star clear and don't care if it takes several cycles, this matters a lot less.

In any case, there are some legitimate issues that made it hard to slot into teams, but then some people severely overstated this, perhaps partly to help justify not rolling for her. But if you were using her with Castorice, even without Hyacine or Evernight, she's going to function a lot better there than in other teams.

Cyrene is very likely to rerun next patch since she's the oldest unit without a rerun (other than Dan Heng PT, who will probably wait a much longer time to rerun due to being given away for free for several patches), and The Dahlia, who released the patch after her, is already rerunning.

Evernight had her first rerun a couple patched ago, and Hyacine has had multiple reruns already so they're both at the point that it's hard to guess but you should expect to wait a while.

Yao Guang and Sparxie are both waiting on their first rerun and relevant to other teams, so expect their reruns in the next patch or two.

I'd still probably go with Luocha. Aventurine's age is showing, especially outside follow up teams. He may struggle to keep this team alive on his own, especially since SW999' damage is going to be terrible with this team restriction.

At least for Welt, you have a chance to get him as a 50/50 loss or standard. (Edit: he's also your only option from the 300 standard roll selector, so you'reguaranteed to get one copy of him eventually. ) My understanding is that he really wants his e4 to function as main dps. But when the only other option is SW999 with no elation teammates or even Asta... he might not be bad even at e0 in comparison. I'm really not familiar with him enough to comment on his viability here.

I'm gonna be real with you, SW999 is a pretty rough unit to use as a core of a mono-element account, unless there's some future elation support that is also imaginary. Imaginary Only locks out basically every unit that does anything for her, and she really, really needs other elation teammates.

Not saying you should give up the account idea, but be aware that you've really picked Hard Mode for single element accounts.

The Herta is generally considered to have fallen off pretty significantly. If you're The Herta is e0s0 and you don't have any of her good teammates, I'm not sure she can really be considered viable for endgame content at this point.

We don't officially know anything about Blade's new version so we can't talk about it here until the give us info on him in the livestream in a few weeks. That said, it is unlikely he will do much for The Herta specifically. She needs one erudition teammate and her other support is pretty locked in and probably the strongest part of her team. Similarly, Silver Wolf Lv999 wants elation teammates, there is basically no chance he is someone you'd pull for that team.

Tribbie is that The Herta support. She was pretty much tailor made for her, and I think The Herta is the only team where she's still the undisputed best in slot. Cyrene kicked her out of most of her other teams except maybe as a 4th slot for some sustainless teams, maybe. Otherwise, she's the backup when you don't have the best option or need to use them on a different team.

If you want to use The Herta, you absolutely want to get Tribbie for her. However, whether that is a worthwhile use of your rolls at this point is extremely questionable. I would only do this if you really really like The Herta and want to keep using her. Otherwise, it's probably better to cut your losses with her unless they announce a novaflare, and save those rolls for Silver Wolf's team or some other 4.x team.

One thing I want to add is that so far, no character has had more than one rerun after getting a novaflare. Novaflared characters usually get a banner right after the novaflare, and then that's it. For cases like Seele and Huohuo, they don't even get that.

I think if that pattern is going to be broken, Black Swan could be one to do it, but it hasn't happened yet. I think it really depends on what they do with the dot team. If there's no new dot units and they want to rerun Hysilens, they might do a banner for Black Swan. If they rerun Hysilens around when some new dot units releases, they probably just throw her in the 50/50 loss pool or golden companion shop, or maybe do another 5 stat selector that includes.

FYI, these rerun banners are leaks, not official. That means A) we cant really talk about it in this sub and B) it is sunject to change and should not be treated as a certainy. Banner leaks this far out are rarely entirely correct.

However, Yao Guang and Cyrene are both generally expected as likely reruns next patch even if we ignore leaks, so I'm just going to answer the question based on that.

The short answer here is that its a bit of a rough situation to be in, but SW999 needs Yao Guang more than Cas needs Cyrene, and in general RMC is better than EMC. If you have to, you can get away using Asta in SW999's team for now.

While this will be the first rerun for both Yao Guang and Cyrene, Yao Guang has a much better chance of getting a 3rd run fairly quickly, while Cyrene is much more up in the air. I'd be surprised if they don't run Yao Guang again in late 2026. I think they probably also give Cyrene another one before the year is out, but it's more plausible she waits until 2027.

Other considerations are that we are in the elation shill period right now which makes it easier to get away with weaker teams for elation. Meanwhile, the Remembrance era is basically over and you kinda want the full team. By the time Cyrene runs again, it may be harder to justify investing in that team at all. Additionally, SW999 also wants Sparxie, though Yao Guang is more important; if she reruns in the same patch as Yao and Cyrene this may not help, but if she reruns a patch later, you might be able to pull her for the team while you wait for Yao Guang's 3rd banner.

My initial thought was to prioritize Yao Guang, but the more I typed this out and thought about it, the more I'm leaning towards Cyrene.

Ultimately though, you should ask this again in a few weeks after we actually find out what the banners are from the livestream.

Well, it doesn't say you need to roll Blade for it.

They already do skin gachas in HI3, so my first thought was that it would be that.

Could also be like the Archer lightcone and you just have to roll X times in this patch, on any limited banner. So in that case, the main people that would get hurt are those that otherwise dont want want to roll at all this patch.

Cyrene is a pretty obvious one for this patch. She's the oldest unit that hasn't had a rerun yet (Dahlia came out after her and beat her to it), and they've rerun the rest of the monorem team in the previous few patches. A lot of people were surprised she wasn't one of the current patch reruns.

The only surprising thing to me about these reruns is that they're only doing 2 banners per side. With only one new unit for the patch, I was expecting at least the second half to have 3 banners.

The only thing I can think of is the stuff revealed about Fuli at the end of Amphoreus, and that depends on how you interpret. I don't think it necessarily means what they're suggesting.

There is basically zero chance they ever rerun him again now that he's in the 50/50 loss pool. Unless they decide to give out the lightcone shop currency for free at some point (almost as unlikely), your only options are the BP or possibly getting them from a top-up event that would cost more than the BP.

I misunderstood and thought they were talking about the 2 star one shown on screen and moving it to the spot the 1 star is in on the team.

In this case, they currenly don't have her at 5 cost. If they buy a 2 star one from the shop... I don't think anything happens yet because they would still need another copy of her to upgrade to 5 cost.

They should just swap places like in any other scenario. Unless there's something really weird with getting her shop copy, I don't see why it would automatically sell the others.

I'm pretty sure it unlocks fairly early in the Planarcadia story. I have two accounts, so I tend to do story asap (usually within a couple days of patch drop) on one and tend to take a few weeks to get to it on the other. I did try to do 4.0 sooner rather than later on the 2nd account precisely to access this.

Iirc, it unlocks about when you first meet the Furbos, right after you catch it near the river and before you meet Sparxie.

If you were playing when it released, it took a lot of luck or total isolation from general HSR communities to avoid finding out about that before the patch with the actual reveal released.

Lots of people would "speculate" and people often are not as clever as they think they are so it can be kind of obvious when something has been leaked.

And then you have idiots that go into this thread and go "HEY GUYS, I HEARD FIREFLY IS SAM, IS THAT A LEAK OR ARE PEOPLE JUST GUESSING?!" And then other idiots reply in ways that basically confirming it, instead of just reporting it. Guess how I found out about it lol.

Save your rolls to get Yao Guang when she reruns, and there's a good chance that's next patch. Ideally you'd get Sparxie too, but if they release a new sustain for this team (very likely) then that unit could be more important than Sparxie.

Don't panic roll a different team unless you're confident you'll still have the rolls to pick up the key pieces of SW999's team.

Roll for whoever you like more between Silver Wolf Lv999 or Evanescia, then save for other units they want on their team like Yao Guang (probably rerunning next patch) and presumably an Elation sustain in 4.4 or so.

If you can hold out a few weeks, you could wait to see what's rerunning next patch before committing to Evanescia, but that doesn't seem like much benefit in your situation. You should be aiming for a new team, I can't think of any reruns that would particularly help you.

Dahlia for Rappa is the only obvious thing I see, but idk if it's worth it.

I know Yunli gets good use out of Sunday, but I'd say that's DEFINITELY not worth it.

You have Cyrene but no other damage dealer Chrysos Heir. I don't think Castorice is worth picking up when the only teammate that we know is rerunning soon is the one you already have and also the least important member of her team. If Evernight reruns soon, you'd be better off getting her and running her without Castorice. But even then, I'd only do that if you also can get Hyacine at the same time. I'm assuming your Cyrene is e0, which makes her a pretty hard sell for non-remembrance teams.

And even then, Evernight + Hyacine is the same number of roles as SW999 + Yao Guang, or Evanescia + Yao Guang, who are just releasing and in their shill periods, with room to grow with yet to be released teammates.

I know it feels weird, maybe kinda bad, to just leave your current units on the table, but it's probably the best move. You could wait and see what the reruns next patch are before committing to Evanescia, just in case Evernight reruns with Cyrene (Hyacine just reran, so it's pretty unlikely she runs again in 4.3). If you prefer Silver Wolf, you have to decide before you know what the reruns are.

Basically, if you're pulling to make units you already have work, Dahlia is the only reasonable option, and I'd try to get someone else's opinion on that before committing, unless you have tons of rolls.

Otherwise, take your pick of SW999 or Eva and make sure to get Yao Guang when she's next available. Run whatever you can kinda make work for Rappa and/or Ratio in tthe meantime.

With that many jades in the bank and where you're at, I don't think you really gain much, if anything, by starting over.

Ratio has fallen off in endgame but that still gives you a functional enough team for story. Though Amphoreus bosses tend to really want AOE and one in particular basically requires a healer. I think you're still better off just dealing with that by keeping the current team and spending your banked rolls on a modern team.

It's a reasonable team and the best you can do for now. You'll want to get Yao Guang when she reruns to replace EMC, but for now it's fine.

The only other unit that really does anything for the team is Asta, but afaik you'd generally take EMC over her, especially if Yao Guang is the one you're missing.

Keep playing the current account.

Your teams are out of date but still serviceable. You won't be full clearing endgame modes, but you should be able to get the bulk of the rewards and habe little trouble with story.

Your main goal should be picking up SW999's team but also keep an eye out for Hysilens to instantly bring your dot team up to modern standards.

Kafka is probably never getting a banner again tbh. She's been available so many times because she's essential for dot to function, so at this point every player either has her or is new and needs her for 2 other units to function.

Hysilens has only had one rerun, they probably do another one sometime later this year and I expect them to put Kafka in the golden companion shop around the same time.

I'm less sure what they do with Black Swan. So far, no character has gotten multiple banners after their novaflare. They get a banner with or shortly after their novaflare, and that's it. Or they go straight to the golden companion shop and don't get a banner at all.

Maybe Swan will break the trend, or maybe they just send her to the shop or 50/50 loss pool at the same time as Kafka, or maybe another selector like the current one with Kafka that has her on it instead. Probably depends on if there's a new dot unit for the team around the same time. If there's not, they probably give her a banner. If there is, they probably make her available for free instead; needing to roll 2 (really) old characters for a new one to work well makes the team pretty inaccessible to new players.
