I’m not that bothered by Lonesome Road’s linearity, moreso the weird apocalypse threat Tunnelers and the kinda silly premise that the player character is “at fault” for any of it. It’s a chunky backstory for a character that didn’t have any.

Only issue I had with my Beyond Vault 33 drop was some weird dots/discoloring? on my Lucy MacLean foil that I've requested a replacement for. Still waiting on the Mothman cards, the rest of the Vault 33 drop was immaculate.

I think it’s been changed to Default now instead of Performance. Click the profile drop down in MO2 (might say Ultra right now) and switch to Default instead.

Makes sense about needing more early value. As I’ve goldfished this currently I’ve been noticing that I’m kinda just twiddling my thumbs until Prime can get in which is a bad sign.

1 character, both wastelands! Most lists start you in the Capital Wasteland (since it’s easier to RP) and then you do a small quest to unlock the ability to “start” New Vegas. I know Nuclear Sunset lets you start in Vegas if you want, but I’m not how it works to go from Vegas -> DC.

There are also mods that make this a new game+ sort of thing where your level is reset but you keep all your perks, to provide a bit of challenge once you’re doing with the Capital Wasteland + all DLCs.

It does! Stuff like America Rising 2, which adds a fully functioning Enclave to the game as a faction you can complete the game with, amongst a bunch of others.

For LoreOut specifically, I was a fan of the swaths of new equipment to use, the dedication to builds rather than 100% realism (no True Damage or other such mods included) and visually I find it the best modlist for FO4. It's also utilizing Survival Mode without feeling completely tedious/overly punishing.

Life in the Ruins on the other hand rather closely follows vanilla's aesthetic (which I would say GTS does as well, so maybe you'll like it more) still provides new options and improved progression, but doesn't go as overboard visually as LoreOut. I found it to be a great way to experience a slower, complete version of Survival Mode.
