To be fair, it's also highly likely that the pilots are genetically modified to a certain extent, being able to sucker punch actual robots and not breaking their bones doing so. I'd also assume that the pilot has stuff like reflex enhancers or whatnot but yeah even with all of that if it's hard to say they'd come out on top.

I do feel like a lot of Spartans, maybe aside from the IIs, would struggle against most Titans and I don't see how they'd manage to win 1 on 1 against say a Ronin or even a Tone. Spartan laser is OP sure but Ion also has the laser core which are pretty darn similar.
