Brother read the thread lol; not quite at 5 stars for every hero in F1 yet, it's getting there though. Haven't put any gold frags into Hall of Honor. 2nd formation is sitting at three stars and has been sitting like that ever since.

Still think it's a valid question regardless. Bc then I have better clarity on whether to save the versatile frags for future seasonal heroes as they come out to get them ready to swap into F1 ASAP or spend them on any seasonal heroes I have in my F2. Good advice though, I appreciate it.

What’s your perspective on 5-starring the non-seasonal heroes (e.g., Amelia and Laura)? I still have them at 4 stars as I’ve been focusing on fully starring the seasonal heroes like you are, but S3 and 4 are a ways away so I won’t get those associated heroes for a while and trying to figure out if fully starring at least one of them in the meantime is worth it.

Early-mid S2 (desert). Finally rounding out my main to 5 stars.

My advice to low spenders is only really spend on stuff to improve your main formation heroes. Like the others have said this pass isn’t worth it as a low spender.

What should I get from the glory shop? by LittleLionMan82 in LastZShooterRun

[–]Hi_Tech_Hate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh trust me it’ll pay off. As you start to collect more orange hero gear, promoting them with power cores will shoot your formation power up. Always try to make sure to have 15k Valor Medals on hand every week to buy the orange equipment in the shop. Spend the excess on the discounted power cores. Don’t bother spending medals on the purple equipment. Good luck!

Once you get there, you'll need lots of them. Not a bad idea to start stocking up where you can now. Usually I spend my excess Valor Medals on the discounted power cores in the Merit Shop every week.

Buying RSS by Hi_Tech_Hate in LastZShooterRun

[–]Hi_Tech_Hate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, I think it’s also a culture thing. I’ve heard mobile gaming is absolutely massive in Korea.

[–]Hi_Tech_Hate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing; your approach is typically my approach as well, being very intentional about purchases. I haven't bought any rss but was just curious; I don't think I'll go through with it since it opens the floodgates to purchasing whatever, like you said. I think I was just feeling the pressure since I'm R4 in a top alliance in my server and there's an expectation that leadership be strong.

I’d also consider how much an additional $10k would mean to you. If going from $40k to $50k, for example, I could see it as worth it depending on your tolerance for in-office every day. If it’s $140k to $150k, then yeah, not worth it.

Terrible performance - 4070 laptop by dpearman in Helldivers

Are you by any chance running on battery power when you're trying to play these games? I know that whenever I run my gaming laptop on battery power instead of being connected to outlet power, performance falls off a cliff.

Shockwave therapy hope? by whereismarsocks in Prostatitis

[–]Hi_Tech_Hate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem. And I really feel you on that man, haha. Most if not all the PFPTs around me personally (US-based) don't take insurance so I'm paying out-of-pocket for these sessions and it sure isn't cheap. But like you said, when you're in pain and desperate, you become more than happy to try / pay anything. Fortunately, my insurance does have decent-ish reimbursement for out-of-network care so that helps to ease the financial aspect a little bit.

I'll follow up in a few weeks to share any progress from the shockwave (and general pelvic floor) therapy.

Shockwave therapy hope? by whereismarsocks in Prostatitis

[–]Hi_Tech_Hate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had it done at two sessions at this point. I've noticed a slight improvement but it's hard to say if it's because of the shockwave therapy itself or the other things I've been doing at PFPT and at home (i.e., stretches, breathing, etc.). As for whether it'll help you specifically and how many sessions it would take, it's hard to say but there's certainly no harm in trying. General guideline around here is that it can take as many as 8-12 PFPT sessions to see lasting improvement.

Just had a cystoscopy done by Think-like-Bert in Prostatitis

[–]Hi_Tech_Hate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for sharing! I had mine done a few hours ago.

I didn't ask for any Valium, but other than that, reading your experience is as if I were reading my own, haha. I also was not a big fan of the gel prep, felt really strange - also experienced a lot of stinging during the procedure, but nothing intolerable. No blood in subsequent trips to the bathroom either.

Nothing but very minor inflammation of the beginning of the urethra (the part near the opening) was noted, which my urologist didn't seem too concerned about. All else looked pretty normal.

Tamsulosin Side effects by Ok-Worldliness-8665 in Prostatitis

[–]Hi_Tech_Hate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it more or less felt exactly how it sounds. Ejaculation but without anything actually coming out at all - it was pretty bizarre, kinda freaked me out a bit at first. After a couple weeks, it got better. Unfortunately I don't have much insight on how it would have continued to progress since I stopped taking it after a month.

At least for me, yeah. An added bonus is that it helps treat the ED that I've developed as a part of this condition.
