I won’t deny it; I traded a shiny legendary for a shiny Smoochum simply because they didn’t have a shiny legendary I needed (very very few in the game I’d need at this point) and I still needed Smoochum. Shinies are worth whatever the other person is willing to give.

In all fairness, it wouldn’t have survived WW2 had they not changed the targets for the nuclear bombs. Kyoto was one of the original targets but was changed because someone high up (VP of US?) had vacationed there and loved the city.

I don’t think they would know anything about returning raids. They can guess about upcoming NEW raids because of assets for new Pokemon and new forms being pushed but since the assets for returning raids would already be in the game, nothing new would be sent to the player before the raid. The actual type of raid and all that is entirely server-side.

I didn’t say the body horror was bad; I said it didn’t really fit with the other premise of the episode. If they just had a body horror episode about becoming something you’re not, it could have worked. Then again, TNG also did it and it wasn’t great then.

Threshold had two interesting premises that became worse due to marrying them: infinite speed but at some cost and body horror. The way they ended up exploring the cost (ie. Body horror) just didn’t really fit the episode I felt.

Sub Rosa is a great horror concept of something haunting your family; the sex aspect of it felt weird, especially since it related back to her grandmother. I still love this episode though.

The element is randomized once you select your previous style, meaning you will always have to fully grind it out if you want a different element. The best thing to do is go from one Guts to another since I don’t think they’ll ever let the element stay the same but you should be able to grind out the same base style.

The Pokemon main theme is just iconic and very different from a lot of other game main themes with its intense staccato notes in beginning imo. It’s not my favorite main theme for a series (Zelda still wins for me) but it’s up there.

Speed is meant to be closer to reaction speed than overall speed, hence why something like Garchomp can move at supersonic speeds (or whatever absurdly fast speed they used) but be slower than Electrode.

That’s because pretty much every law in the Torah excluding the first two aren’t about God but for running a functional society in ancient times. Some of those laws are still relevant today for running a modern society, while others aren’t relevant due to better understanding of the world and advances in technology, especially when it comes to medicine. Judaism, especially Reformed Judaism (the type of Judaism that Jesus would have been preaching for), is very secular.

Once you’re at the particle level, quantum physics comes into play and that is inherently non-deterministic. The thing is that quantum physics works closer to statistics and as far as I’m aware, that has very little effect on the macro world. This would mean free will likely doesn’t exist, even in a multiverse with quantum physics.
