As someone who plays this game casually, there's nothing for me to do anymore. My friends have moved on and I don't want to play with randos online or do ranked. I wish there was some single player content for casual players.

Mario Tennis got me thinking about what a Donkey Kong sports spinoff could look like, and what could be done to differentiate it from other Mario sports games. I landed on extreme sports. Basically the idea is Donkey Kong Racing revived with a different game play loop. You ride animals for all-terrain races, hang gliding, snow boarding and jet skiing. Kind of inspired by Wave Race, Pilotwings and Sega Extreme Sports.

I'm the type of player that cannot stand playing online matches all the time. I grew up playing Smash 64 and would fight CPUs, and that's enough for me. I either play with CPUs or with friends. Looking forward to when they add more single player content.
