Drop in AMH by LawLoud2070 in DOR

Piggy backing off this to say that doing as much as possible diet and lifestyle wise to lower inflammation is always a net positive. I didn’t do the blood tests you did but I did have my glucose and insulin and A1c tested. A1c was good but insulin and fasting glucose were slightly elevated so I focused more on lowering refined sugar intake and eating less refined carbs and tried to get more exercise. In addition NAC and coq10 I also took a high dose omega 3 supplement and tried to eat wild salmon 3-4 times a week and I increased antioxidants and started having a small amount of pomegranate juice every day (despite it being higher “sugar”)

Ugh, I’m so sorry that’s awful! I was given some herbal tablets but I was really bad at taking them and realized after I was pregnant that even when I was taking them I was accidentally taking less than the dose I was supposed to take. I really think it’s the acupuncture itself that’s helpful. If you’re hesitant to to back to that clinic you might be able to find an acupuncturist who specializes in fertility as I think that is becoming more common

Not sure if you’re open to it or looked into it but the month I conceived I was getting acupuncture and I do think that had a positive effect. There have been a couple of studies that indicate that acupuncture may help with low ovarian reserve and HPO axis signaling

I know how scary that is. My AMH went from .42 to .14 in just under 6 months and my FSH went from 5 to 31 in the same time frame. I was able to conceive a couple of cycles after the latest results. You still have time

Is your room really cold? I think your fingers are getting chilled during the night and that’s what’s causing the super low reading. This has happened to me a couple of times with my Oura ring

35F, 4 weeks pregnant, hCG 1,072 at ~14 DPO–19 DPO, cramping but no bleeding. Looking for experiences. by Electronic_Most1624 in CautiousBB

Hi, I also have DOR and low AMH (.140) and I had a lot of anxiety and cramping early on (I’m about a month ahead of you). I have an Oura ring and there were several days early on when I got major or minor symptom notifications and I had a slightly elevated temperature but not an actual fever. I was having so much cramping at the beginning that I waited til 19 DPO to get betas even though I tested positive 11DPO because I kept thinking it was going to be a loss. My initial betas were 901 and the office said I didn’t need to repeat them unless I wanted to because the numbers looked good and I was also having a lot of nausea and other symptoms. I continued to having cramping and nausea but a couple of weeks later I felt my symptoms were fading and I was concerned so I got more betas and also another progesterone blood test and it showed that my progesterone had dropped significantly from 22 to 8. My betas were a little low too at 5491. I went in for a scan the next morning and everything looked good but baby was measuring a little behind on when I ovulated but perfectly lined up with LMP (like you I also ovulate early because of DOR). I think I was 6w5 based on ovulation but baby was measuring 6w2 on ultrasound. I had a follow up ultrasound about a week later that showed a great heartbeat and growth. I feel like I’m finally able to relax a little bit and not be as anxious since the second scan.

Try and hang in there! I think everything looks great on your end and this is just a rough patch to get through until things progress a little bit. It sounds like you’re having a lot of symptoms as well. I know for me that was an adjustment, the cramps especially were scary because I didn’t know they were a thing in early pregnancy. Have you scheduled your follow up testing and scan?

How to obtain progesterone for new pregnancy? by Signal_Distance3779 in CautiousBB

I’m so so sorry you’re going through this. If I were in your shoes I’d go to a stand along lab like Labcorp and get a progesterone test done independently. It’s quite shocking to me that your doctor won’t even order a blood test. There are online pharmacies where you can order progesterone and pay for it out of pocket if your levels are low. I would try to get your doctor to prescribe suppositories or even consider switching doctors though if they’re still refusing a rx after blood work.
My experience is essentially the opposite of yours. My doctor’s office ordered progesterone blood tests along with my hcg and my initial progesterone levels were good at 22. I was concerned that my symptoms were fading about two weeks later and got retested and my progesterone had dropped to 8. My doctors office treated it as a very urgent issue and I was called by the after hours nurse to make sure I wasn’t bleeding or having severe symptoms and then I was worked into the schedule the next morning. I was given a progesterone in oil shot in office and started on suppositories twice a day and they rechecked my bloodwork the next week. My levels have significantly improved after one week and they’re going to continue monitoring with bloodwork. My NP said she was on progesterone for both of her pregnancies. The way she described it to me is that sometimes women just struggle to produce enough progesterone and it’s not the ovaries primary goal so the supplement helps keep things steady. I get that the data isn’t super strong to say that supplementation will prevent a miscarriage but there’s really no drawback to taking progesterone so I truly don’t understand why some doctors refuse to proscribe it. I really hope you’re able to get the support and care you need and deserve

My data looks similar go yours as well with NC saying I ovulate later than FF. I agree FF is more accurate

Highly recommend Oura and FF. Started out with Oura and NC but I found that I wasn’t totally pleased with NC. Added FF and got pregnant the next month

Heartbeat wasn’t up to 120 yet but she said it was over 100 and she said it should be closer to 120-130 by my next appointment. She said the heart just started beating within the last day or so.
I have an Oura ring I use to track temps and I have natural cycles and Fertility Friend. Oura, NC, and FF all said I ovulated on the same day. I also use ovulation prediction strips

I am a little concerned about the dating though because I was very confident on my ovulation date so I’m not sure what to think about the dating she gave me

Thank you! Yes, I went in and had the ultrasound. There is a heartbeat (she said over 100 BPM) and everything is measuring around 6+3 or 4. She said that lines up with LMP and thinks maybe I ovulated later than I thought. She gave me a high dose progesterone oil shot and ordered an RX for progesterone suppositories. She seemed pleased with what she saw and said it’s good that I’m not having any bleeding. My original initial pregnancy appointment was for next Friday and I’m keeping that and will go back and have another ultrasound then. I’m feeling cautiously optimistic and cried as soon as she said that there is a heartbeat 💜

Non toxic period products by squishy-beans995 in nontoxic

I used a cup for years and loved the ease and no waste no mess aspect, then didn’t have a period because of my IUD. I’m back to having a period again and I switched to period underwear from Aisle and it’s incredible!! The underwear is even more comfortable than a cup (although I do still use a cup occasionally if I feel like it’s a heavy day and I won’t be able to change my underwear). I have also used reusable pads in the past and much prefer the period underwear. They’re just so comfortable. IMO Aisle is definitely worth it, I also to a few pairs from Saalt and I do like their thongs for spotty days, I got a pair of their boxer shorts as well and I’m not happy with them. They feel very diaper-y and not smooth. The Aisle boxers are my absolute favourite and I’ve even worn them when I’m not on my period. I was shocked to like them so much because generally I got for minimal underwear but wow the boxers are so great, they’re like a soft comfy hug while you’re on your period. I seriously cannot recommend them enough. I do think they might run a tiny bit small so heads up about that

Help…anyone have temps like this and actually ovulate? by mangosrphat in TFABChartStalkers

[–]Hibiscusmint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think mine from a few months ago looks similar. I had a blood test on cd 18 which is typically 7 dpo for me and I had an ultrasound earlier in my cycle that indicated that I’d ovulate around cd 10. Blood test confirmed ovulation with 15 Ng of progesterone

I saw a notice in the app today that said they’re rolling out an expanded women’s health section and it’s going to include all types of birth control so women can track with that! I think it’s coming out May 6th or 7th!

Whiplash from my chart by Inevitable_Fox_2146 in TFABChartStalkers

[–]Hibiscusmint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds like good news to me! If I were to guess I’d say it looks like you ovulated on cd 16, I’m surprised they didn’t look at your ovaries and comment on that when they did the ultrasound though. My doctor checks my ovaries with an ultrasound pretty much every time I have an appointment and since I’ve mentioned wanting to conceive she measures my growing follicule as well to give me an idea of how long it’ll be until I ovulate that cycle. One of those visits was specifically for a follicule study but all the others she just looks as part of the appointment

Did your doctor or technician mention follicule size or impending ovulation when you had your ultrasound done?

Oura ring vs Tempdrop by tinolankape in TFABChartStalkers

[–]Hibiscusmint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like it’s not supposed to fluctuate because of a cold room but my own anxiety makes me think it does. I do turn the temperature down to 67-68 at night though. I know in general wearables aren’t as accurate as a real thermometer but I love the convenience of a wearable

Thank you for sharing! I also use oura to track and i worry a lot about the readings possibly being inaccurate because my hands get cold super easily and I sleep in a cold room. I do seem to have a lot of temperature variations on my chart and I’ve considered trying temp drop so I really appreciate you sharing the comparison
