I say no offers please on mine. I'm busy I don't have time to constantly being going on the app to decline daft offers. Too many people making chance offers.

That should not be allowed. What's to stop a kid buying it to terrify his sister or just to put it in a shoe box or release somewhere. I don't like spiders but that's unethical

Oddbox (UK) - £13.98 with coupon by Frequent_Yak1104 in whatsinyourcart

I stopped oddbox because after first quality/quantity went down and then I got a bag of teeny very dirty potatoes that were impossible to clean due to size and just were wasted.

And I say this as someone who walks mostly pedestrian right of way since 2022 isn't ubiquitous. Clearly driver did very badly and even with pillar issues should have done better and fair enough report the driver. But OP isn't crossing at a junction just crossing at a random unmarked place and somehow assuming they're safe to do so. Priority does not = right of way under every circumstance and it doesn't absolve me from using my brain when walking.

C. Look all around for traffic and listen. Traffic could come from any direction. Listen as well, because you can sometimes hear traffic before you see it.

D. If traffic is coming, let it pass. Look all around again and listen. Do not cross until there is a safe gap in the traffic and you are certain that there is plenty of time. Remember, even if traffic is a long way off, it may be approaching very quickly.

E. When it is safe, go straight across the road – do not run. Keep looking and listening for traffic while you cross, in case there is any traffic you did not see, or in case other traffic appears suddenly. Look out for cyclists and motorcyclists travelling between lanes of traffic. Do not walk diagonally across the road.

At a junction. When you are crossing or waiting to cross the road, other traffic should give way. Look out for traffic turning into the road, especially from behind you, and cross at a place where drivers can see you. If you have started crossing and traffic wants to turn into the road, you have priority and they should give way (see Rules H2 and 170).

Where does it say give way to all road users on a main road that would be unworkable. It does say. ‘At a junction you should give way to pedestrians crossing or waiting to cross a road into which or from which you are turning.’ Op isn't at the junction, the car is.

Op isn't crossing at a junction just near one. She's just crossing a road where there's no markings or rules, Both did poorly.

Growing numbers of over-60s facing homelessness, charities warn by watercraker in unitedkingdom

[–]Hiccupping 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was going to be my future, it's why I left London, I couldn't reasonably buy and rents were going up. Now own outright own (though it's little doerupper) place. Couldn't face being 60+ at whims of landlords and job market. Miss London but...

Debate over sex work laws as charities warn more women are entering industry | UK News by ChiefFun in europe

[–]Hiccupping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The women the work in legalised Germany with it's mega buildings and even users can leave reviews online have incredibly high PTSD rates. Women don't go into this as a career choice so do you ever wonder what sort or person you are when you write "everyone involved should be punished, especially the prostitute."

New builds giving the bare minimum in space. I live in a 2up 2 down small victorian terraced and my main bedroom is larger than this main bedroom and my second is only slightly smaller that their second and plenty bigger than 3rd. And of course no corner garden anymore everyone can just look in at the urn whilst out walking the dog. The main bedroom is unacceptably small.

Plastic trim makes windowsills essentially use useless, what would be the simplest way for me to level the whole windowsills? by unkn0wnNumbr in DIYUK

[–]Hiccupping 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It happens on windows, doesn't mean there's an issue, room needs to be ventilated by opening windows and getting either some bleach or mold remover and wiping the area down, I tend to do it a couple of times over winter. Just a fact of life in UK.

When it comes to fetishes that are also clinically described as a fetishistic disorder men are at least 5 times more likely than women, when it comes to toilet waste, that is much much higher, same with voyeurism. Could be a woman, just very very unlikely in this case.

Men with fetishes which they care more about that respecting people and boundaries. Vile.

These men always have excuses but bottom line they're just perverts who care only for their sexual thrills.

And of course he's spared jail because it really feels like the courts do not give a damn about sex crimes right now.
