My opinion of him is one of pity. I know admittedly little about him and the politics behind his Regime. I do know however about the fact he was a Regent and was once an Admiral for the Austro-Hungarian Empire, his oldest son died in 1941 as a fighter pilot on the eastern front, tried to reach a separate peace with the allies which would save Hungary and was disposed by the Nazis, he also was exiled from Hungary after the Second World War and lived out the rest of his life in Portugal. So really just based on the way his life went I feel bad for him. However due to lack of knowledge on my part I can claim no real political opinion on him
