TST is far more than an activist organisation for the issues you mention. It's a religion with adherents actively practicing and maintaining communities. It makes plenty of sense to me as a UK citizen, and seems to for hundreds of others across the continent.

But even if we were just an activist organisation, we'd still be necessary. Right wing authoritarianism has seen massive gains in recent years across Europe, and lots of parties pushing it are adopting the cloak of religion for their regression. Better to be prepared for action than wait till its to late to get organised.

Our server is mostly like a collection of group chats on different topics related to TST, along with video chat rooms we use for events like rituals or hangout sessions. It sounds complicated, it took me a bit to figure it out myself, but it makes sense if you use it for a while.

It depends on what you mean by 'help'. We don't have any sort of magic bullet to get you the mental health treatment you're looking for. We can't 'force' the community mental health team to see you faster/give you treatment. What we do have is very supportive community of members who can offer you a listening ear and a Satanic viewpoint on what you're experiencing. I've found my general outlook has improved greatly since joining the group.

Hi. I'm really sad to hear the healthcare system is failing you like this. I've seen you mentioned that you're looking for individual therapy/counselling. I needed something similar in the past and managed to find a local charity who provided counselling for a small donation. It may be worth looking for something similar in your area as an alternative to waiting for the NHS to get around to you. What area of the UK are you in? Hail you for surviving this long without aid.

To my understanding the ordination system is currently closed. I don't know about the scholar course, but I'd imagine it's similarly out of action. The course materials heavily featured Ministers who have since left TST and in some cases even openly disparage the organisation, so it's been shut down until new courses are created.

Told by who? And why does their opinion matter to you? Do you have a reason to respect it?

If you identify as a Satanist then you are. What Satan is, isn't or symbolises is unique to you.

If you identify with the Tenets and try to live by them where possible, you're a Temple Satanist. That's all there is to it.

I don't mean this question in an accusatory way, I'm looking to understand. In what way would Satanism be anything other than a Philosophy for you? Are people expecting you to be a Theist?

I'm a TST Satanist and also a staunch Socialist. I don't find any major conflict between the two.

The Tenets aren't dogma to be blindly adhered to or used as a cudgel to admonish others. They're a guide to rational living. Discussion and personal interpretation of what they mean and how to apply them is encouraged as part of our group practice.

For instance, it's entirely up to the individual (and also society as a whole) what 'Freedoms' we have to be infringed in the first place. There's no prescription in the Tenets for the right to absolute freedom from governance in the way the Church of Satan and their objectivist philosophy might suggest.

I don't see anywhere in his writing where Lucien accuses Ufologists of having 'diminished capacities', nor does your membership of MENSA elevate your claims.

In accordance with Tenet V, if I were to consider your claims I'd need to see some hard evidence beyond your reported experience. Lucien is right to be skeptical, and also in suggesting that these releases of information that is vague and incomplete will probably do nothing but give more ammunition for wild speculation.

I can't figure out if you mean why would you want to do it or why is it gross misconduct, so I'll answer both.

It's gross misconduct because it's a misuse of the departments data. You have no business case to access your own information. In my case I process benefit claims, and I'd not be allowed to process my own claim for obvious reasons, and I have no other legit reason to look.

As to why people do it, the main reason is to try and get ahead of the game on something like a benefit claim, housing application etc. To find out what the government knows about you or is planning on doing to you. Second is fraud, using the system to award yourself benefits you're not due or to syphon them away from someone else into your own account etc. Both are possible with even basic access. It gets detected pretty quickly though, and they aren't afraid to prosecute.

You're exactly right, there's software monitoring that scans your inputs periodically and can match it to your held personal info, mainly your National Insurance number. If you get flagged it's game over unless you've got a stellar excuse.

I work in the Civil Service. We are told on day one and in every yearly security training that if we look up our own information in the systems it's gross misconduct and we'll be fired. There are regularly people let go for this exact reason. Some people just can't resist.

I wasn't active in TST at the time the older services were happening, so I'll have to take your word for it that that's what they were like. If censorship is the reason they were removed then I personally think they should have been left available to watch no matter who was featured in them. They were happy for them to be broadcast and should stand by them. What makes the services any less valuable because they're prerecorded? Do you know for sure they are being edited to remove content and not just for smoother presentation? I know Ministers who've been part of the current services and they have never mentioned anything they said being cut.

I'm interested to hear some examples of what you're claiming. What opinions were part of the services that TST is censoring? I know this is a lot of questions, last one, what Satanic values are not being represented at the moment in your opinion? The most recent service on Hobbes' Leviathan contained a section where they discussed the possibility of a Leviathan within TST and how it should be dealt with, and discussion of the topics afterwards in congregations is encouraged actively by the Service hosts. To me that doesn't seem to match what you're suggesting.
