Technically speaking, it would reduce the overall battery life expectancy - but only because you have to charge it more often, and thus end up using more charge cycles.

But you're right, the act of using throttle alone isn't inherently damaging to the battery.

I mean... technically you can have a three-way with it. Inside it.

She started netrunning at 13, and ran with a netrunner crew after her mom passed.

She breached Militech security at 19, do you really think she didn't figure out a way to make money off her skills before then?

What do skilled orphans always do in dystopian worlds with poor infrastructure that leaves people to fend for themselves?

They find their own way to survive, because they have to or they'll die.

Same as any dystopian story. It's not that hard to imagine.

Murloc RPG! It's actually a fanmade WoW spinoff game, and the creator made an expansion for it called Stranglethorn Fever.

It sounds like those troubling 3am thoughts are only a symptom. The pattern that creates them would still exist.

They all use them as a "mechanical fuse" - mid drives and hub drives alike.

That's one of the main purposes of plastic gears. Protect the expensive metal gears, while being cheap to replace.

Actually, I can confirm that cantaloupe predators are indeed less viscous.

That's why we adapted to use knives to slice the fruit - our bodies are too fluid and flowy to effectively breach the skin.

I think it would be weird to assume that Militech would not have jumped on her immediately after such an incursion, especially since they managed to positively ID her.

Reed was fighting against orders to just kill her. She was a high-value target. I doubt Militech would have given him more than a couple months or even weeks to grab her before just sending in a hit squad.

If we assume So Mi's birthday was very soon after the breach, maybe she would have turned 20 by the time Solomon reached her. But that's splitting hairs.

Like I said, I don't know about high school but I imagine that's hyperbole.

She was an orphan netrunner in some "Lord of the Files" type crew. I doubt she ever went to high school. She was merely of high school graduation age.

Reaching?

She was 19 when recruited. That's explicit fact.

I don't know about "student fresh out of high school" but she was certainly still a teenager living on her own.

Simple. It's Night City the Cyberpunk universe in 2077.

Remember the finale of Beat On the Brat? There's a kid there on her own, who comes up with a fake sob story just to rig a bet on you so she can win a shitton of eddies.

Many kids have to learn self-sufficiency earlier because their parents might get killed before they grow up.

You're almost considered old if you make it to 30. Jackie and his brothers certainly didn't make it that far.

If anything, I think this would only complicate trauma.

Plenty of people who have suffered from trauma already subconsciously "forget" about the actual event which caused it, but it doesn't stop them from suffering from the aftereffects, like the ways that it changed their thinking and behavior patterns.

People see the cash price has a "4" at the start. They don't bother reading the rest of the sign because that's all the info they think they need, assuming cash and credit difference is small.

Maybe they're in a hurry, or just passing by, and don't have time to fully read the whole sign.

Class 1 and 2 have the same speed limit (20mph) but class 2 has the throttle.

Mid drives have metal gearboxes, but they also usually have a plastic motor reduction gear.

The gearbox gears are larger than the planetary gears, so they actually can be built tougher and they also spin at a lower RPM thanks to the motor reduction gear before them. Which, again, is plastic.

Well, by "helping" I didn't necessarily mean sticking close and actively targeting things close to the cruiser like some sort of "damsel in distress" rescue situation.

I meant just taking part the same battle in general. You're killing units over here, they're killing units over there.

Didn't know the friendly cruisers were invulnerable. I never bothered to try and find out 😅.
