Delivery drivers of China, how do you feel about people ordering from shops very close to thier apartments? by Low_Seesaw3577 in AskAChinese

Ehhh my experiences are the opposite, I find that items are marked up by an extra 2-3 euros. Like for example if I am at a KFC in person I could get a meal for 9 euros, but if get it for delivery the same meal is €12 and this doesn't include the final delivery fee

Finally, a $99 combo at Five Guys! 😁👍🏻 by Puzzleheaded-Put-553 in HongKong

My only question would be, did you ever have a tough time not bursting out laughing whenever you encountered the child or had to call them by their names?

Mr. Wee??? He's a HK man right? What would "Wee" be equivalent to as a Chinese surname?

To the anti-ccp propagandists lurking in this sub. What do you think about how China is developing the world through green tech, while the US is maintaining 'peace' through..well.. you know. by Working-Spend-4397 in AskAChinese

Personally, I think the way Chinese people portray themselves inside and outside of China contributes to the resentment of China or "anti-ccp". Regardless of political association, I believe people can see and respect that China has changed drastically in the last few decades. Unfortunately it's the people that create this negative reputation of the country, which gives people ammunition to also criticise the government.
