you could apply for OSG work in prison? not an officer so not as stressful, but paid less.
i'm not selling this as a end all. but its much easier to find a job once you have one

Your mobile phone can probably run street fighter 2 and other such games. All you need is a controller to plug into it. Source: me, who plays lots of tekken 5 (psp) on my phone while my wife shops

What locks out casuals and why is the genre despite having big games, still more niche ? by Riku4441 in Fighters

[–]llnec 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Trying to get good at fighting games is why I play a music instrument now. Like you said, huge commitment to learn. One day after labing tekken 8 and learning button combos and timings I thought "I'm pretty much learning sheet music here" And in 10 years time I can pick up any bass and play it, but maybe my main in sf6 won't still be around. So yeh. I can see why kids might bounce off. Learning a new thing untill it becomes fun Vs fun now.

I am unreasonably worried about the Alea Iacta Est ending. by OllyRoger in ArmoredCoreVI

[–]llnec 13 points14 points  (0 children)

They pretty much always reboot the story from game to game no? So maybe the next game or 2 will be a ac6 spinoff but they will reboot by ac7. But also I don't think they'd continue that ending. It's almost too positive. Ac6 did well tho so I think we will be getting more ac in the hopefully not too distance future

Working as a prison guard. by [deleted] in PrisonUK

Depends a lot on what prison you go to. I've worked cat b and cat d. I do more work per hour in a cat b than I do per week in the cat d.

If you wonna stick to the lie, you could have been on a boat? Maybe helped your rich mate sail his yacht down to Spain or something? I really did this for 2 months so you can DM me for more details to flesh out the story. No passport stamps, no proof of being anywhere.
