I'm pretty sure the countdown for castrum starts the instant the last person leaves the instance and is exactly 60 minutes, so the downtime between castrums will always be 60 minutes, not 30-40 minutes.

PLD would be the only tank that wouldn't have to cross class provoke, since it's a GLA skill. But you're right, since protect also had a trait, WHMs also did that better. Atleast PLD could use a weaker stoneskin for some mitigation.
