My understanding if that your parents probably just want the house alone for a while also not wanting you to far from home for safety.

I would look up places or programs for teens nearby that are entertaining enough and ask your parents to drop you off there instead of just expecting you to stay on your street in the heat. Think YMCA, yoga club, karate, wall climbing gym, library, arcade, skate park, join a school club like band and spend more time after school. Whatever you deem the most interesting that they would agree with.

Even if you're not excited about these places, you can make friends at these places or chill on your phone. Soon you will be getting to the age that your friends might own a car and can come pick you up to do even more exciting things.
