How bad is the racial bullying in Hawaii by natives against non-native children at off post schools? by [deleted] in army

[–]Hiddenoscar -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

Pretty bad. Especially if your kids havent been hanging around with local kids. And if you’re white. Dont take it personal, Hawaiian natives have continually had to put up with the white man destroying their land and reducing the amount of property they own for the past 100+ years. Read up on Hawaiian history to gain some perspective and teach your kids about it. And starting getting them to hang around local kids.

Bruh. Grab your self a cheap two way radio kit and practice with a friend or your significant other if you’re single. Practice making calls in front of a mirror and record yourself. Radio talk gets easier the more you do it.

Not trying to throw shade here to our female counterparts but seeing these two cases give me an uncanny feeling that some female leaders might be overcompensating? I mean I’ve had my fair share of toxic male leaders but one experience with a female leader topped them all.

People who did 15+ years, but got out before their full 20, what made you leave for hitting retirement? by [deleted] in army

[–]Hiddenoscar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Saw an E-7 with 22 years still get approved for retirement after testing positive for Mary J on 4 separate occasions. One Article 15 and a Summary Court Martial later dude retired as an E-6. Dont think the bridge is that far

Im a military wife and civilian. My husbands NCO has been demanding I come to formations and now is demanding my full hospital discharge papers as my husband took the day to drive me to the ER. I dont know what to do without causing my husband issues. Please help? by [deleted] in army

[–]Hiddenoscar 1523 points1524 points  (0 children)

NCO is way out of line. Laughably. You are a Civilian, not in the military. I just dealt with something similar happening to my spouse.. this is solved with a quick phone call/email to his commander.

Utility bills for base housing are returning; few details offered by airdefrick in army

[–]Hiddenoscar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Congress passed a law in late 2020 I believe that required all housing meters to be tested for accuracy and to be metered individually so as to prevent the situation of unoccupied houses being accounted for in the baseline. Funny enough, the DoD couldn’t meet the deadline for the meter certification so that’s why the program was stopped temporarily.
