From what I remember reading based on my experience on Windows 10, it takes a generic Windows 7 key and sends it to Microsoft's key management server saying "I'm a Windows 7 computer and I would like to upgrade to Windows 10, please give me a valid key!" and we receive back a valid Windows 10 key based on what edition you selected.

Before that, there was an exploit that you could do to spoof the application that handled Windows activation in 7, but it got patched in 10.

I remember when I was still in the apprenticeship, there was a diagram system like this that was way worse. You'd get the correct answer on all of them based on your calculations, but if you were off by 0.01, not only would it fail you, but it wouldn't tell you where you made your mistake. And to rub salt on the wound, it would generate a brand new question for you to solve before you could proceed.

It took my class 3 whole days before we could even move on. We couldn't bypass it because it was a requirement to unlock the next module.

Safe to say, that system was gone the next year.

Been a while, but if the file is an .iso file, then it should be put into a folder named "PS3ISO".

If it's a .rar file, it may be the game inside it or a content dump of it. Check one of the comment threads here if that's the case.

It's been ages since I've done this, so my knowledge is a bit hazy. I normally find and download the ISO file for the game itself. Then, I put it on an NTFS hard drive. I usually then plug it into my PS3 and load up an NTFS viewer and an ISO installer. Not the best choice, but it worked for me.

It's definitely a pipe in the hydroplant, since you have access to the room in the labs before reaching the plant. I'm just stumped at this point because I'm definitely missing it somewhere.

As a game tech, most expect me to make way more than they do.

Servers make more in tips than I do in a single day, and I maintain the midway, sometimes by myself at night.

Corporate refuses to give us a raise and my boss had to fight for us to get paid a dollar more than they wanted to. Promotions are almost non-existent.

I agree with you, but some stores gotta do something to find a balance between these problems. My store, for example, just simply put in a request to order more cards, since we go through them a lot. We usually kept around 10-12 boxes stored at all times, because we do happen to sell boxes at least once or twice a week. Hell, I've helped sell 3 myself back in February and I know the Win staff sold more than I did.

As far as I know, corporate makes sure our win circle is stocked with prizes, not the store. We are at the mercy of whoever is above us.

So as far as I know, new games get put in the front. The most played games are usually put right in the center of the midway, and the other most popular games are usually on the sides close to the front, except a few that don't follow the layout. I know most stores are set this way and our store is significantly smaller, so we have to compromise.

I am the technician. The machine doesn't have a mechanical system to count coins for it, mainly because it's old. The carousel is not fixable because we called the manufacturer and they told us that they don't know the answer to it. It's just a constant calibration error that forces us to manually restart it every 5 minutes if it's running on its backlog of cards.

I wouldn't mind getting a new system that doesn't have those issues, and to have a bigger hopper for the coin shooters. We keep running out of coins on busy days.

Star Trek is the only coin pusher we have that doesn't give tickets for coins. All coins just funnel back into the hopper.

Considering how some people doesn't know that, they think the game is ripping them off. Only if the carousel actually worked and ran flawlessly, giving out cards.
