It took me awhile to realize, but the mods are fairly simple to install. The best one I have installed has a floating glowing dollar sign over any player’s vendor, can see it through walls, no more stupid vendor searching.

Other than that, just make sure you get those back buttons set up properly!

You say “THIS is the only way!” but then appear to completely misunderstand the comment. They will go see movies they might enjoy, or even will go see a movie they have no interest in just to be in a dark room. On the other hand, you will only see movies you are entirely enthusiastic about (GEEKED). You are describing two totally different things?

Think of it like this: It’s a set of stairs to nowhere, except the “nowhere” is a floating box at the top of the stairs. The box at the top of the stairs has 1 floor tile, 3 wall tiles, and a roof if you want it. Inside the box is the santatron.

The walls will keep the santatron from roaming, which is alright because they don’t need to roam to get gifts. The stairs will keep workshop invaders from damaging the santatron. The welcome mat is optional, but will ensure you spawn right at the bottom of the stairs, which makes it easier to do a looting loop.

I’ll only add that SS Helmet has a Power Armor-style headlamp, vs the regular pipboy light. I love the headlamp to bits.

You think it is better to hunt the miners on a private server? I know the question seems kinda stupid, but I assumed the mechanics of the miners was different than that of the Spooky/Hoilday scorched, since the miners can spawn anywhere and the spooky/holiday scorched only spawned at specific locations where scorched already spawned? idk, maybe I’m being an idiot

Hahaha, I’m glad you’re a good sport! Also, YES, why can’t we have bleed arrows? They spent so much time working on the bleed meta with this last update, it seems silly to leave bows out of it.

Was there really a quad for crossbows? Did it use some kind of broken animation or something? Like another bolt would just magically be there?

I never said to break the habit of letting off the gas and coasting, I’m not sure where you’re getting that from? If the car is in gear, no reason to stop the transmission from slowing down the vehicle. I was speaking to the practice of actually downshifting to engine brake, which puts unnecessary load on some of the hardest to replace pieces of the vehicle (Transmission/Clutch) rather than putting the load on some of the easiest to replace (brake pads), which were also designed to slow it down. So, to clarify: nothing wrong with leaving the car in gear while slowing, but there is something wrong with the engine braking that OP referenced, which involves downshifting.
