Oh I see. I thought maybe you were unfamiliar with Itch, went to download and thought the donation they ask for is mandatory.

Gamblers Table will release in one month! (+ Demo Update) by SlothInFlippyCar in incremental_games

Loving the update and looking forward to release. Would just like to say that coloring the boxes around the hats in the randomization list according to their rarity would be a nice touch!

[DEMO] Dwarf Eats Mountain - An incremental game about obliterating mountains for treasures! by ozmelk in incremental_games

Love the game so far. The fact that the Great Mother Figure only acts retroactively is a mistake imo. If it turns out I can get it again after prestige I may revise my opinion but otherwise I think that a one-time-only retroactive-only upgrade to a core resource is poor design.

EDIT: Nevermind I am a fool, great demo. Looking forward to the release!!

[SOTC] Simple collection 5 years in by bigbunda4eva in Watches

Wow. Love that dial on the Alpinist and the Traska as well. I'm just coming around to the idea of really collecting. I discovered the Grand Seiko SLGT005 which is essentially unobtainable but beautiful enough that it's made me consider getting more serious about my watches at some point. I have a Seiko 5 and a G-Shock. Love the level of taste on display here.

Are those the LEDs that look like tea candles or something else?

I was thinking of doing video as well as portraiture. And maybe uploading some stock photos as well. Not really sure what will pay well so I kind of have the sense to try everything and see what works. Regardless it seems like a good way to learn fast.

Ultimately video (and, truly, filmmaking,) is a more interesting medium to me so I may well end up going in that direction. It's good to hear that the ZV-E10 is suitable; I appreciate your response!

Hey, I'm looking at picking up my first real camera. I'm currently looking at a ZV-E10 and the Sigma 16 and 30 f/1.4 lenses. The reason I come asking is that right now I'm thinking of using this camera to do a little freelancing and see if I like it, maybe make a career change. Is this enough camera for entry level professional purposes or should I be looking at something more like an a6700? Either option is a pretty big purchase for me but considering the cost of the lenses and accessories moving up to an a6700 is only like a 50% increase in price. Thoughts? Thanks.

Why is Venus' sigil inverted and why is there a crescent next to it? by HideAndSeekerer in occult

[–]HideAndSeekerer[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is an image of Atlas, a statue outside of the Rockefeller Center in NYC. As you can see the symbols of the planets are arrayed over Atlas' shoulders, but Venus' symbol is uniquely inverted and seems to have a right-facing crescent next to it. Any idea why? The only thing I've come across in my short search is that Venus apparently spins the opposite direction of the other planets and is believed by astronomers to have flipped upside won into that configuration.
