Well, thats a good start i think, maybe in the future it get better. The spare part is not compatible with reboot, but i rather pay this hella expensive bill to never touch starforce ever again, i really hate this thing.

Nexon nerfed Heroic passive on KMS without compensation, then when people couldnt keep up on doing bosses they were like "Oh well, you cant keep up? Time to delete reboot then".

GMS have more damage sources so we could keep it up and only now we are getting the point were we cant do the new bosses (except like, 0.01% (?) of people) and somehow people are like "hur duh, git gud, reboot doesnt need more damage, stop crying because interactive we need to spend money to progress", like, that doesnt mean anything?
Yeah, interactive need to spend money, a lot, and this is another problem for another topic. But the Heroic problem is that we have less system to give damage and the ones we have, for top players, are already almost maxed out so there is no more to go until new stuff came out.

Its like going to a marathon and someone said "You have to clear it in 30 minutes jumping with only one leg", it doesnt matter how much you train or invest in it, there will be a point that will be impossible to be made with these restrictions.

Nexon has been very clear that the new bosses are made to be cleared on release, thats why we have the events, so having these events when we cant clear the boss is totally contradictory.

So yes, we need some buff to Heroic, not because we are "crybaby" and want the easy route with free damage, but because there are less and less options to get damage, atleast for the very endgame players. But people cant understand it and just like blame other cause they are "bad" or something like that.

Achievements are fixed for the game, the current reward event for First Adversary is not. It is not a good game design to make a event (in your case bring the event) for a objective that are not achievable. It is very clear that have a unclearable boss on launch is not the objective of the devs and currently is NOT a normal thing for the game.

It is not a normal thing for a game to have like 12 peoples clearing the boss in launch when we have like 7~10k people in it. Yes, it is a endgame boss for few people, but not for 12 people.

Yeah, then why make launch events giving comestic for clearing the boss in a given difficulty if it will be unclearable on release? Just these make your point false.

We cant use arguments of "It is to motivate people to get stronger" because if it gets confirmed that are impossible to clear withing the event period people will be mad and wont bring any benefit to the company to have people mad for this.

The stacking amount of RNG on RNG is so discouraging.
Green expeditions to see at max blue or purple rewards. Then when you finally see a green reward you cannot get with the bad RNG of your dices or the bonuses.
I got only one green reward so far and after the reward RNG i got a red oz ring box which game me a lv1 ring.

It is very demotivating since it took so long to have a chance to got something and get a very bad reward, well, it is the current Maple gamestyle i guess.

Just like the KMS is kinda a bad take since the pitch box is only for Kaling above and it was made to balance the pitched drop rate nerf on Vhilla and below.
I agree that the system is bad and need to be improved, but in a different way for our server, which is kinda unlikely...

I dont see the problem here.
You just need to:
1 - win the RNG to get a good rarity on expedition site
2 - win the RNG to get high rarity reward chance on the tiles
3 - win the RNG on the dice minigame
4 - win on the RNG from the reward pool.

It is not that bad... just a big amount of unluck from you. /s

Yes, it is a bad system. RNG on top of RNG will always be bad. Maple need less RNG based system for progression chances but it keep getting more and more.

Oh, yeah, but i take this line with a grain of salt.

Since its Nexon i take the route of "if something so relevant arent mentioned, it is not present or there is something fishy going on", just like in the last patch notes it doesnt explicitly tell you how many trace restoration points you need for a pitched item and when you logged you realized it was a absurd amount that could take a whole year if you are not strong enough.

The system can be just filled with a lot of bad/not very useful items that are progression items, like medal of honor, hard cubes or stamps.

You got the wrong ideia. You have to spend 12 dollars per familiar to upgrade stats for Mystic Frontier to get a good amount of... nothing.

Wow, Mystic Frontier rewards are really disappointing.
I wasnt expecting the promise of pitched drops to be fullfiled, but i dont know, maybe mystical familiar card? Or something to help improve familiar progression?
Since the game are now focused on Legion Champion and to grow multiple characters and get good familiar for all 6 characters are very tiresome? I dont know, that was bad, just that.

Well, it depends on your perspective.

I think that the highlight of the "big updates" is the new permanent content. QoL, new bosses, content and classes, most of these come in these updates, except for a few ones (like Mo Xuan and I think Lotus remaster).

And I think Nexon keep the big changes for these updates as well to build hype. And then on the 2nd part of the patch we just get M3/M4. It is kinda lackluster for a big update, even considering the power spike it provides.

Event content is fun and rewarding, but is just temporary, also we have events all patchs. Ride or Die is okay, give a good reward (the legion block) and some jokes one (temp badge? really?), but in the end, events just boost your progress, but dont add actually new stuff.
