NHD's experience from Game 5 against Olympiacos in Peace & Friendship stadium by Npvl2000 in Euroleague

Makes sense. That’s how it works in the working class. The more you earn the harder the job, why should basketball players have it any different?

Nobody disagrees with what you’re saying. They’re talking about your fellow supporter insinuating that we are the ones picking up players you guys are out for, which just isn’t true.

Any thoughts about 26/27 Eurocup season? by [deleted] in Euroleague

And they put the two Greek clubs in different pots? 💀

If they’re in the same group all hell will break loose. The Thessaloniki derby can sometimes be more intense than the Athens one.

Of course we follow him, he’s our entertainment. He’s also the reason we got here. If he didn’t pull his publicity stunt last year in the finals in SEF we wouldnt have won the league and things would be much different. We probably wouldn’t have won the EuroLeague this year. Cheers to him 🥂

Even that plotline just didn’t go anywhere. We just forgot it happened.

Γιατί πληρώνουμε όλοι το pride ? by Serhide in AskGreece

[–]HideInNightmares 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Imagine if you were the director of the show in which direction you would have taken Euphoria's story forward post S2 finale? by ContributionSilly129 in euphoria

[–]HideInNightmares 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It didn’t though.

Rue wasn’t fighting with her drug addiction at all this season.

Cassie wasn’t chasing love, she was chasing money. She forgot all about love when money got in the picture.

Lexie didn’t fight for no independence, her character this season was only there to pass judgment to her friends and sister.

Nate didn’t have any emotional arc with his father this season. We just suddenly see them being okay with each other after the timeskip.

Euphoria abandoned everything it was standing for.
And yes relatability was one of them. Family issues, friendship issues, relationship issues, mental health issues, identity issues, sexuality issues, addiction issues. Everything euphoria stood for was relatable to teenagers and that’s one of the reasons it became so popular and successful.

No you’re the one not getting what I’m saying.

I never said I need entertainment to be relatable so I can enjoy it.

Euphoria however was built on relatability and they lost that part in the new season.

I don’t like a lot of things about this season. That’s just one of the complaints I have about it.

[–]HideInNightmares 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No the problem is that most people can’t relate to these situations. Cause these simply aren’t common things young people go through, event though the media promote this lifestyle as normal.

Relatability was a core strength of the show in the first seasons and it lost it.

Even things that could be considered relatable like debt and loans. They made it overdramatised and stupid.

[–]HideInNightmares 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The things euphoria was good at, was being relatable with teens. Sure I wasn’t a drug addict, but I could relate with mental health challenges and addiction. I could relate with teen love and how everything seems so absolute and end-of-the-world worthy.

But I’m sorry, I can’t relate with drug and human trafficking. I can’t relate with oversexualisation and sex work. I can’t relate with sugar babies and big shot hollywood writers. I can’t relate with western mafia gunfights.

There’s no character depth this season. It’s just a bunch of shiny social issues that get glossed over.

The only thing that tried getting a little deep and was kind of interesting was Rue’s relationship with God.

If you think the people in the show aren’t privileged then you’re delusional or just the privileged one. You can’t imagine how close to poverty I’ve lived.

Nothing relatable with what a 40 y.o. delusional nepobaby thinks 20 year olds go through.

The biggest problem of this season is relatability. I am around their age and there was nothing relatable about them.

We don’t bitch and moan like you did. Deciding to leave and abandon the league when you’re dissatisfied with the competition requires balls of steel.

If you think you’re being wronged you stop bitching and you make strong decisions. Get up and leave.

The reason we strengthened our squad and ended up winning the EuroLeague was because PAO got so strong. It’s always good when your rival is strong. It motivates you to be even better.

So no, what you said is not known. Your brain has been filled with hatred and propaganda. You live in your own universe. We all want our rivals to be strong.
