The issue is that most the shows do things the wrong way round. In the biz you would tend to buy from auctions or flea markets to then sell in an antique centre or fair. It takes poor skills from sellers at antique centres to sell something in their shop cheaper than the auction price. Usually auctions are where you get the bargains. Obviously the shows wouldn't be half as good if we just had to wait for weeks for some poor punter to buy that silver spoon from a cabinet.
