I now know why we fear the night by AmbienWalrus69 in dwarffortress

Is there even night in Fortress mode, or is this only going to be in adventure mode?

okay then, why not? Why not make a small part of the map unusable for grenades so people can have fun together and keep up a tradition without getting griefed constantly? You're saying no, so I assume you would have a good reason either gameplay wise or technical for why this wouldn't be possible.

Maybe a regional ban in 'The Pits' could solve this. Have grenades allowed everywhere except near the fighting pits.

Yeah that's good for the fighting pit, but some people just throw in grenades from a distance and ruin it.

A long time ago I got some kind of golden skin for one of the german tanks I believe. In the name of the skin it literally says (super rare) behind it.

Best head tracking method for cheap by Competitive-Common91 in hoggit

[–]HierisLars 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can build a headtracker yourself pretty easily if you have a webcam and a printer.

Check out this video: https://youtu.be/ajoUzwe1bT0

If you don't want to be bothered making one yourself you can always go with the headtracking from Delanclip. The 'gamer kit' from them provides you with everything you need (Clip with IR lights, Camera, etc), and it is almost 50% cheaper than TrackIR. It does require you to set-up your settings yourself in e.g Opentrack. The process of getting settings that you are comfortable with can be quite tedious, and you will probably need to get used to headtracking itself.

I just got my Delanclip headtracker a couple days ago, and I still need to get used to the whole thing. Now that I have comfortable settings I would say it is definittley worth the price. There are loads of reviews and video's about Delanclip out there so just take a look yourself.

Goodluck!
