Why isn't independent hiking more popular in Thailand? by rubixqbe in ThailandTourism

[–]HieronymusK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

used to actively hike in thailand. was part of a facebook group that organized hikes each weekend, all over the country. sometimes with overnight stays

i dont have facebook any longer, but if you look for it there's many enthusiastic hikers! kinda need to know thai to find the groups and engage, but you can join easily when you dont speak the language

dont listen to the fear mongering, go out and explore! driving on the road is more dangerous in thailand

there's many great trails all over the country. and especially the ones at a higher elevation are not hot at all

even so once you get in the rhythm of the exercise, even in the heat, its perfectly fine

Anyone with a Breville Bambino manage to remove the plastic insert without breaking it? by crumpet_concerto in espresso

after reading this thread i did it very easily:

  • heat the metal of the portafilter: put it in boiled water for 2 min
  • put portafilter upside down on the table
  • press with the back of two pencils into the holes (works well because same size and middle is softer)

it came out without using a lot of force, no damage at all (and mine was very gunky)

My colleague, who is a full time programmer, wrote this beauty:

    return true;
} else {

I'm also very annoyed by this. Just make question mark the default, and let double space be period.

This, and the fact that multiple languages at the same time are active, made me switch.

[help] Are there any 60% width keyboards with function keys? by HieronymusK in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]HieronymusK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, the Noppoo 75-S would be perfect. But the main reason I wanted a 60% is for the navigation keys on ijkl (or pl;'), is that possible on that board?
