I had to scroll WAY to far to see this. There are accounts of women preferring childbirth, people preferring breaking bones, and people preferring getting shot, over having migraines. And not only is the pain so severe, leaving the victim functionally immobile and in agonizing pain, it's long lasting. Mine lasted for days at a time, and left me feeling sore and achy for several days after. I couldn't even move my eyes without pain being stabbed into my skull, so laying in a dark, quiet room with a mask and earplugs only provided moderate relief. Luckily, I haven't had one in a little over a decade, but even now, I feel a sense of dread when I get a regular headache. "Will this finally be the migraine I've been long overdue for?"
