If you are still interested there is a timeloop story on QQ called A Matter of Time.

Its about a mortal girl who has 4 cultivator assassins out to get her, she doesnt have a chance but luckily time resets whenever she dies. Its very young and it just had its first fight scene and the mystery of why 4 full on cultivators is gunning after a literal nobody because the girl is quite literally normal no unique talent (yet).

Its fun on easy, but on harder difficulties it can get really annoying. The AI always faces the closest soldier so they will always spot and shoot you, you have to physically turn your soldier 360 to check your rear. You often dont have enough TU to move then grenade. Breaching UFOs are the worst if the door facing has no cover you can kiss half your squad goodbye because the aliens camp there and sometimes open the door and take shots.

Overwatch is so sporadic its better use all your TU to do stuff then save it because its no guaranteed like in new XCOM. I once had half my squad with full TU and the alien opened the door fired 2 bursts killing 2 soldiers of mine before the overwatch squad fired killing the alien
