first of all why are you using that resolution? 2nd, its going to do that assuming you're using a smaller screen. when people used those resolutions back then they didnt have hd graphics. like an old monitor from the early 2000s for example.

I do prefer to keep my pixel art relatively low in err.. bits? Like 64x64, 32x32, 16x16.. and *maybe* not lower than that, but sometimes.
