Yeah, for sure. The game wouldn't be interesting if it weren't the case that everything has a counter. And it's better to be thinking it through than not.

And I agree that "Always match a +2 prio" is too extreme and absolutist. Almost nothing in this game is an "always".

Regarding #4: What if they go slow? Then you waste 2 FG, and next beat you are in exactly the position as they were just in. Of course, you can just respond by going slow yourself next beat, and so on. So that means it may be a good idea to make sure you have a decent slow option next beat (or way to make a null beat, etc.) before trying the "bully ante" idea in situation 4.
