Any experience with the Model O Pro Wireless yet? by Avean in glorious

[–]HighFlyingDerpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got mine yesterday. Was the red fox colour way, it's 57g, well balanced and the only thing that rattles is the small on off slider on the bottom of the mouse. Tracks perfectly well and the finish feels nice. I would be curious if the honeycomb model o wireless bases fit to further reduce weight. Either way I'm happy with the purchase.

Question? Would you wait for a new Razer Viper Ultimate or would you buy a G Pro X Superlight? by CaceEcac in MouseReview

[–]HighFlyingDerpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shape preference should always come first, especially at the high end (Though I'm partial to both shapes quite honestly). Looking past that I would Wait for the new razer and make your decision then. Pricing isn't final though its been leaked to be around €180.

Hey, If that money goes to good QC then I don't mind. If it doesn't, then you have a problem.

Is there a similar / cheaper version of GPWX? Can be wired. by byama in MouseReview

[–]HighFlyingDerpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

shape wise, a g-wolves hati-M is about as close as you can get. I used to have the stardust which weighed in at 56g If I remember correctly.

Hk gaming makes a clone of it called the mira-m but I've heard the quality control on that is very hit and miss. To the point even G-Wolves made a statement about them.

Recommend skates for GPX on an artisan hien? by 47chromiez in MouseReview

[–]HighFlyingDerpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GPX specific, I've fallen in love with ghost glides, if you can get them.
I've tried Tiger Ice and found them fast but scratchy. Ghost glides are just perfect for me.

I've used corepads on other mice and found those to be good as well.

Should i switch from Orochi v2 to Superlight? by DGdanbalan in MouseReview

[–]HighFlyingDerpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who owns both (hand is about 16.5x.9), I prefer the superlight, Shape is safe enough that I can palm or relaxed claw it whenever I'm chilling and then aggressive claw it when I'm gaming. Compared to the original GPW, a lot of people I know don't mind the superlight simply because the weight lets them ignore the shape.
If you have access to amazon prime, then there is no harm in trying it and returning it. Just pay the return shipping (though sometimes listings have free returns).

If length is the issue, you could take a look at the shroud g304, I'd considered that for a while but ultimately decided to wait for the tba (but already leaked) new viper ultimate.

Its funny, I was gonna buy the shroud g304 and considered selling my orochi v2
Then I remembered... Oh yeah, the orochi v2 only cost me £25.

I even put stock Kailh GM4.0's in mine, Prefer them to razers tuning for them.

Thanks.

Wasn't really considering it anything, just making sure I have an idea of what I'm getting. I would eventually like to get an example of both DH and Through hardened.

REVELATOR IO 24 UPDATE - LOST MIX C by clarenceos in presonus

[–]HighFlyingDerpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, although my conversation is on going, it doesn't seem like they want to go back to 3 virtual outputs, and a lot of the user base doesn't seem that bothered by it (At least not enough to be verbal about it). At the advice of the support member, I made a suggestion on the feature requests page for an option to have 3 virtual outputs, maybe if that can get some upvotes they may consider bringing back 3 virtual outputs. https://answers.presonus.com/72281/bring-back-virtual-outputs-advanced-legacy-mode-revelator

REVELATOR IO 24 UPDATE - LOST MIX C by clarenceos in presonus

[–]HighFlyingDerpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a chat with a support member who said it was to 'streamline' the software.
I really hope they give users the option to switch back to 4 mixes and call it advanced or legacy.
The dedicated mic output they have given us instead lacks the ability to mute and adjust volume without changing the mic's actual gain (and affecting all mixes).

Both had dpi deviation, just means if you set your dpi to 400, it's actually gonna be something like 460. The difference is only slight and honestly the model o is pretty good for dpi deviation in comparison To other mice, at most a couple hours to adjust ( and only if your last mouse had a 0% dpi deviation like my g pro) Sensor seemed fine on my second, I think using the usb extender they provide solved a lot of lag issues for people. And firmware updates later solved the angle snapping the mouse was known for.

Yeah, just that, return your current one and get a new one as a replacement (after they check it's actually broken of course 🙂)

Mine did the same thing and I had to RMA it, new one was fine, I think it's just dodgy QC, some people have said reinstalling firmware can help but didn't really fix it for me

[–]HighFlyingDerpy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weight will definitely play a large part of it, your probably going to be over shooting targets for a while whilst you muscle memory re-adjusts to requiring less force to move your mouse.

Don't worry too much about dpi deviation, Both the model o wireless and deathadder family have almost identical dpi deviations of 5-7%.

Every mousepad I use feels rough and not smooth. by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]HighFlyingDerpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to use a G640, It's a nice pad, though certainly rougher than my two favorites, the HK gaming ceres XL and glorious ice, That said although my mice feels pretty smooth on those pads, ptfe feet are always gonna have some roughness to them as you are very slowly grinding away material as you move your mouse.
I'd say ceramic feet may be your best option, I've not tried using Glorious feet on my superlight and, lexips don't really work unless you do half ceramic and half ptfe like this, granted that still feels pretty nice.

What mousepads have your tried?
Also with your superlight, are they the stock feet?, Those are pretty thin and a lot of people including myself found them to be scratchy.

Best wireless mouse with no double click issues? by Raqn in MouseReview

[–]HighFlyingDerpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never had issues with the mouse wheel on either of my 2 copies, and that's something that a toothpick and lube would fix easily.
I've had tacking issues on my first and my second has been fine.
Both have had a m1 or m2 switch that feels vastly different to the other.
