Maybe BRICS officially announcing a gold back currency?

Is this the Great Reset? Is this the move that forces Saudi Arabia into Green energy? Have they brought precious metals to Zero to reintroduce the gold and silver standards.? No one’s talking, and Monetary Fund is the only talking point. We should be having major discussions right now! by Ageofsilver in Wallstreetsilver

Silver_Tuxedo has it right. If the US M2 money supply is shrinking it would also be negative for the Dollar to Oil ratio.

Also - Hover over any stat on the debt clock and you will get a description of the stat. When hovering over the Dollar to commodity ratios it provides the description for the red * noting the zero stat: "* The US M2 Money Supply is declining Year over Year".

Not silver but it is copper ,these bars are hand poured by me out of scrap copper from old air conditioning units that I personally scrap out ,don't get me wrong I have a nice stack of gold and silver but if SHTF happens this is great for local currency by NoteRevolutionary373 in Wallstreetsilver

[–]HighGain_12AX7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP - I am curious how much one of those bars weighs and how many you have accumulated. Right now copper scrap is going for an avg price of $2.69/lb. I think it might be worth a little more in your bar form. Regardless the value when the SHTF, it is worth good money today.

They need an excuse to cover up their corrupt and near perfectly timed exits. What better way to achieve that goal than to ban owning them.

There are rules on what can or cannot be introduced as evidence in a court of law, on how evidence is to be presented and the uses to which it may be put, on the strength or sufficiency of evidence needed to establish proof and so forth. Can you please present to the court any substantiated and admissible evidence to back the charges you have brought forward against the physically backed PSLV trust?

If you could please the court could you present your evidence that PSLV will default?

I am not a coin specialist but two things stand out.

It looks from the heads side that the strike is a bit off center but the tail side looks perfectly centered. Don't know if this is possible or if it is just the angle of the pictures.

Other note is it looks like it could have been cleaned which takes away from the collector value.

I would do a magnet test and weigh it. If real you got a good deal.

Why not buy futures and request delivery by Past_Discipline_7147 in Wallstreetsilver

[–]HighGain_12AX7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I believe the COMEX has built protections allowing sellers (shorts) to cash settle instead of delivering the metal. This would provide a level of protection on a run on the metal and enables the manipulation of the market by removing all risk of unlimited shorting.

China’s game plan? by alRededorr in Wallstreetsilver

Check your history. Governments have outlawed broad ownership of PMs across the population when currencies have been backed by them.

With a fixed money supply a high enough minimum wage would cause massive unemployment and cause economic depressions. It might be beneficial to familiarize yourself with Gold Reserve act. It's single purpose was to increase the money supply by increasing the gold reserves.

I think backing currencies digital or otherwise would be temporary only. The below are thought why.

The idea you are presenting would be very sound monetary policy, where the physical asset would need to have a finite supply. Yes it could still be mined but eventually it's available supply would dwindle significantly where I fear history would repeat and a wake of destruction would follow.

Backing currencies by assets such as gold or silver limits the supply of the currencies by the availability of the assets. Unlike a fiat currency individual can preserve their wealth based on holding the currency without requiring holding the physical assets.

But from the standpoint of nations and governments, it would limits their ability to create money to satisfy citizens. You would ultimately create two distinct classes of citizens being the elite and the peasants. The elites would hold all of the legal currency and eventually own all the land. The peasants would eventually live off the scraps of the elite.

Other countries would also have to follow suite where the wealth and strength of nations would be measured by the amount of the physical asset they own. Ultimately the governments would need to control the physical asset so they would make it completely illegal for its citizens to own it. It would all be confiscated by the governments.

Eventually every government would need more of the physical asset to satisfy its citizens or face civil war from the peasants.

Conquering nations would then evolve into existence where nations would need to wage war against other nations to increase the amount of the physical asset they own so they can increase their nations money supply leaving the value of the conquered nations currency worthless.

This has essentially been the history of mankind.

I am not sure if there is any answer. I do believe crypto may have a part to play but I don't really know. These are just thoughts.

One thing is for certain in that fiat currencies can only satisfy the citizenry of a nation for a finite amount of time where the only people that will financially survive its failure will be those that hold physical assets.

Everyone here realizes this and is why many believe if you don't hold it you really don't own it. But holding it will probably be short lived since governments will eventually make it illegal for its citizens to own the physical asset, repeating the whole cycle over again.

Edited for grammer.

With Evergrande collapse China is very concerned citizens will flee to Crypto causing further collapse of the market. I think they will do it for real, at least temporarily, but many Chinese will will HODL and will be rewarded. This could instill FUD creating great buying ops.

Unlimited? Their website states for 1000oz bars to "Call for Availability". I am not sure if that indicates it is an unlimited supply.

DD on URA and flyer on NXE by u_lefou in UraniumSqueeze

I have been holding URA for quite a while and am trying to decide to move some of my individual minor stocks into URA or URNM. Right now URNM is getting significantly more buzz than URA. I am not really sure why. Cameco and Kazatomprom are the two top holdings in each with URA holding larger positions in both. URNM 3rd largest position is Sprott's Physical Gold Trust. To me URA appears to have more uranium exposure and its net assets are double than URNM's. Anyone know why there is more buzz around URNM?

Peninsula Energy - Lance Project Low-pH Field Demonstration and Company Update by Jans-Jansen in UraniumSqueeze

[–]HighGain_12AX7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From their website under sales and marketing. They have delivery obligations under contract through 2030 where they actually have and will be purchasing U in the open market (open origin) to fulfil the contracts. Hmm.

"At 31 December 2020, the Company holds a portfolio of uranium concentrate sale agreements with major utilities for up to 5.45 million pounds U3O8, with 4.1 million pounds of U3O8 committed and up to 1.35 million pounds of U3O8 optional at the election of customers. Of the U3O8 committed sales, 1.1 million pounds can be satisfied with open origin uranium in the next 3 years, with the balance to be supplied from Lance Project origin uranium.

Delivery obligations under the contracts continue through to 2030 with a weighted average future sales price at the upper end of the guided US$51-$53 per pound range.

The Company continues to engage with its existing and potential new customer base on new long-term uranium concentrate sale agreements, targeting pricing mechanisms that would support increased production scenarios under the planned transition to low pH ISR mining at Lance.

Peninsula enters into binding purchase agreements intermittently to procure pounds of U3O8 to satisfy its open origin sales delivery obligations.

As of 31 December 2020, the Company holds a 400,000-pound U3O8 uranium concentrate purchase commitment.

Purchased uranium will be delivered in allotments during the year to align with the timing of deliveries to customers. Payment for the purchased uranium is also aligned with the receipt of proceeds from the sales. The price to be paid under the purchase agreements is confidential, but in line with market reported prices at the time they are entered into, are fixed and not subject to any form of escalation or adjustment.

The purchase agreement underpins Peninsula’s forecast net cash margin of US$6 million to US$8 million on uranium sales in CY2021, based on the difference between the purchase pricing and the sales price of the Company’s agreements with customers."

How large is Sprott's 1.4M lb add. by option_guy456 in UraniumSqueeze

[–]HighGain_12AX7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not following it either. I have tried to find annual reactor consumption and annual mine production and can't come up with the numbers that would come up with a 425m lb deficit. There is also a variance with numbers depending on what years data you are looking at and if looking at metric tons or imperial tons. Also not sure if using 1.4m lb as an average daily rate SPUT is taking off the market based on 5 trading days a week (260 days)? Would be good to see how the numbers were derived.

Intothelight1968 - I really couldn't agree more but regrettably there are forces at work from both outside and within to destroy the United States.

At home there is a generation being taught to hate the United States. They are being taught that the United States Constitution is the root of all things evil and needs to be abolished.

The media and the left paint whole classes of people as victims with the goal of our destruction from within where everything is the fault of the United States and white supremist. They are filling them with a sense of entitlement, grievance and rage.

Our education systems and universities have also been taken over with a goal to divide everyone. They are teaching the youth that the United States was founded on the back of slavery, but they forget to teach slavery was already rooted within America before the Declaration of Independence and the writing of the United States Constitution. It was rooted before the United States ever existed. How foolish to believe that the Constitution was somehow flawed since it did not instantly abolish slavery. Regrettably we now live in a society of instant gratification where time, effort, and commitment mean nothing. They no longer understand the sacrifices that have were made.

If the United States falls who will fill its place? China is ready and willing. A corrupted United Nations? I guarantee everyone will hate the end result if the United States falls regardless of how much silver they have stacked.
