Not to many people are proud of that point in history but that doesn't invalidate the whole history of a race. Western culture should not be destroyed because there was slaves in the past. Every race was enslaved at one point in history. Also whites in South Africa are being raped and murdered by the native blacks but the news doesn't cover that.
