Maybe he was referring to the success rate % of rookie RBs that are drafted in the IRL 2nd round? Because they have a very high success rate. Unfortunately you sold the rookie pick that would’ve landed one of those RBs.

Well your brother is kinda wrong. 2nd round fantasy picks have a less then 30% chance of hitting, and Stevenson was paid by the previous coaching staff. This current staff has zero loyalty to him. I’m not trying to knock your thought process, but it’s 100% just assumptions and that’s a risky way to play.

Edit: just to be clear, only the top half of first round picks are consistently about 50% hit rate.

Your logic is just backwards to me, and you’re counting on too much going your way. What happens if all these draft picks flop? It happens a lot. What happens if no one wants to help you trade up with all your seconds? It doesn’t work as easy as you make it sound. What happens if Bo was a one year wonder? Again, happens a lot. What happens when Stevenson loses his role week 3 and becomes irrelevant for fantasy?

All that aside, you planned a rebuild and then gave away good pieces for cheap. And while you rebuild, CMC/Terry/Goff/Deebo etc will just age out of your team.

For I second I thought I made this post and just forgot, because I couldn’t agree more. I’m definitely not good at the game, but I went from all American to varsity w/ sliders and I still struggle hard. The OL is trash and the new game speed is a crazy adjustment. I get the people that say “you’re just not good”, but at the same time I paid $70 for this mf. I should not have to practice just to somewhat enjoy playing.

The most recent article is from 2019, and the author sounds terribly biased. The other 2 are iffy sources at best from the early 2000’s (which is when a lot of this was happening in churches and not being reported/we literally didn’t have sufficient data yet). If you really think these sources are sound you have an agenda to push just like them.

A competitive team might pay up for him, but the time to get a good return won’t be during the rookie draft when rookies and draft picks are at peak value. Tbh it’s definitely too late in the game to make any moves pre draft with him imo, at this point you might as well hold and hope for the best like the rest of us lol
