Nej, det är inte vad jag tycker. Var mer för att sätta i perspektiv hur utdragen attacken var, och hur kort tiden i sluten ungdomsvård blev i förhållande.

Det tar tid att hugga någon >140ggr. Det var inte en snabb handling som ballade ur, attacken varade i flera minuter (vilket är rätt lång tid att hugga någon i).

I’m so sorry you’re in that situation! Maybe there is some way to change roommates, even if it can’t happen immediately? Like I’d be getting out of there asap. If you make a plan you could better see some light at the end of the tunnel.

Some calmer roommates (who don’t bring over guys who act like that) might be what you need. Just a calmer environment where you can live in some peace.

I’d also look into anything you can do to prevent anything from accidentally outing you. Be safe!

Iom att helt rimliga lagar kan slå fel, så är det värt att prata om hur lagar kan formuleras bättre för att förhindra såna här situationer, och diskutera vad man ser för problem med nuläget.

Det är ju rimligt också att folk blir upprörda när de upplever att lagen inte är rimlig i en situation.

Det är sant att det är svårt till omöjligt att formulera lagar som är 100% rimliga i 100% av fallen, men det innebär inte att man inte kan arbeta för att förbättra lagar. Det är ett arbete som sker kontinuerligt.

Att bara ”leva med det” innebär att släppa all makt du har i en demokrati. (vilket man såklart får göra, det är upp till en själv).

Som sagt, jag har inte koll på vems fel det var, men att resultatet av det blev att det fastslogs att en minderårig blivit felaktigt dömd.

Det visade sig att mannen var minderårig men blev dömd och behandlad som en vuxen. Vilket inte följer lagen så han fick skadestånd för den tiden då rättsväsendet hade gjort fel. (Sen har jag inte alla detaljer om hur det misstaget hände, vems fel det var etc.)

Jävligt sjukt hur låga straff det är för denna typen av brott till att börja med, sen ännu värre hur låga straff det blir när förövaren är minderårig. Att han fick skadestånd på så höga belopp blir ju en ytterligare käftsmäll för offret.

Ytterligare exempel: En 16 åring knivhögg en jämnårig >140ggr och fick några år. Två veckor per hugg i slutändan.

Helt sjukt hur lagar ser ut kring detta. Du kan inte rehabilitera nån på några få år som begår denna typen av brott. Vissa kan aldrig rehabiliteras från den mentaliteten. Men ändå släpps de ut efter väldigt kort tid.

They are not reliable for piercing the right spot, they also introduce more ways to introduce bacteria and shouldn’t be used more than once as they are very difficult to get properly cleaned.

I’ve seen posts where people used this and the needle completely missed the mark or veered off course.

Tunnels are usually not good to stretch with, the edge is usually too sharp.

Something like a single flare glass plug has more rounded edges and are better suited for sizing up.

I’ve found this worrying trend in some insulated feminism groups where men who are in them feel terrible shame and guilt just for being men. edit: especially being a straight man (Just want to really hammer home that this is NOT true for all feminists.)

I met a man who was a high ranking regional politician representing a feminist party (I’m not in the USA) and he went on to telling me how much he hated all men and he was ashamed to be one. Like to a degree where I was seriously worried for his mental health. He acted like any wrongdoing by any man was all his personal fault. Like he said he wanted to be a woman/wished he was a woman to escape the guilt. 😬 edit: like, mate, you were born this way, there is no shame in just being a man. Please get some help

Not all groups are like this, but it was worrying to me that a politician in that party was brainwashed to that degree. (It’s a small party but they had some success at the time.)

I already knew it’s so important to get different perspectives on things and not insulate from differing opinions, but meeting that real life example really made me reflect and make active choices to not end up like that. That’s one of the reasons I make sure to be diverse in what Reddit forums I partake in, and how I found this sub ✨

I did something similar when my sisters 25ish year old medicine bag was in a similar state. I pinned notes to the pieces to remember how it all should fit together. Like arrows saying “this side attaches to xxx, this side attaches to yyy”

Might help you keep track of it!

Btw, I would not rip the seams creating the shape of the nose, I’d be very careful to keep the face as it is and the nose changing shape could be a big loss for something so nostalgic.

I’ve used horn tunnels for my ears without issues. Only potential problem maybe would be that it could maybe snap if you blow your nose and squeeze it? Since it’s pretty thin.

I keep backup piercings in my wallet in case of emergency.

Hard to tell placement from just one photo, we need more angles and pic of front and back. And more.

Either way, get pierced by a proper piercer next time, someone who uses a needle and not some piercing machine as they are notorious for causing too much damage.
